Charming and spacious unit

This third-floor attic unit was very spacious, complete with a sunroom! The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and there was plenty of storage for all our extra belongings and pantry items. Don was also very friendly, accommodating, and easy to reach. Great location near the streetcar and lots of free street parking. Would definitely book again if we need a space in Kansas City!

Great Stay!

I stayed in the 3rd floor unit with my partner and our cat and we had a great experience. The unit was spacious and had a lot of natural light. Don and Patty were quick to respond, helpful, and very friendly. We never had issues finding street parking and loved being walking distance from the streetcar to explore KC. I definitely recommend this rental for anyone staying in Kansas City!

Great stay.

I originally planned to stay for 3 months, but needed to extend an extra month during my transition-Don was very accommodating and made it happen. I loved staying here. Everything I needed was available, safe location, attentive owners, central location-it was perfect for what I needed. Overall fantastic experience.

Home is a quickly acquired taste

But what truly sets this place apart are Don and Patty. Their welcoming presence and calming energy elevate the experience beyond that of a typical stay. Wonderful property owner and a great stress-free stay!

I stayed in Don's loft from May 2025 to September 2025, and my experience was excellent. Don was friendly, professional, accommodating, and always quick to respond to any questions or issues. The property was exactly as advertised, super clean, comfortable, and move-in ready. Rent payments were effortless, and the landlord made the whole process easy to use. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Hall to any traveler and would gladly rent again in the future.

Great place to stay!!

I stayed here for 5 months on a travel assignment. It has all the necessities-private laundry and bathroom were most important to me. The hosts are excellent and quickly responded to any needs I had. The home is close to downtown and walkable to multiple local attractions, including a nearby park. Street parking is first- come, first-serve but I generally never had a problem getting close parking. This is a safe, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Great place in KC

I felt very comfortable living here. The location is close to a lot of restaurants, shops, etc. Hosts were wonderful and readily available whenever I needed to contact them. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Kansas City, especially if youre a fan of historical homes.

Spacious Apartment and quiet.

This is a very large one bedroom apartment on the third floor with plenty of storage space.Its in a quiet neighborhood with easy parking.Brand new washer and dry in the unit.The owners are super respectful and friendly. Fast return of the deposit was nice. Its centrally located with bars and restaurants 0.5 miles away. I would stay again if in KC

Home Away From Home

Location is great, central to many places around Kansas City. Owners are friendly and responsive, putting in a lot of work into the place. It's a nice home to return to after a long day or to stick around and take a break. Thankful to have been able to stay in the area, it was a wonderful experience.

Great Stay

Absolutely great stay. Friendly owners that are available when needed. Location is great and extremely convenient, close to all of the hospitals in downtown KC. Plus close to plenty of restaurants. Would absolutely rent again if I'm back in KC.

Amazing stay!

D and P are amazing hosts! This unit is has everything you need and more! Super cozy and quiet which makes it perfect if you are a night shift worker like myself. The designated parking space is also a huge perk since parking in the area can be tight. Absolutely loved my stay and 100% recommend staying with D and P!

Great stay!

I stayed at this property for 12 weeks while in Kansas City for a nursing position. The home owners were excellent and easy to work with, responsive to any and all needs, and went above and beyond in ways that they didnt have to! This property was conveniently located to everything i wanted to access in KC. Could not recommend enough.

Cozy and Roomy

My husband and I have been staying in apartment #2 in this FF property and found it to be a comfortable location. It has a true "home" feel with windows on three sides of the den that let in plenty of light and show off the trees while we sit with our morning coffee at the kitchen table. The bathroom is spacious and all the fixtures work well. A side window with a counter gives me natural light for my make-up routine. The bed is comfortable and sofa is plenty large to stretch out and rest. Landlords P and D are responsive with any needed repairs, though I can say we've had very few issues that needed attention. The laundry room is in the basement and the washer and dryer work well. On the side of the house is an enclosed deck with chairs if you want to get outside for a bit. The location is convenient to many businesses such as a small grocery store, pharmacy, and several upscale restaurants in the Westport area. We highly recommend any of the three units in the house.

I truly enjoyed my stay with D & P. I felt safe and the space has exactly what you need for a short term stay. Everyone was respectful of the shared space and as a solo traveler, I felt safe in the area. If I am ever back in the midwest, I'd def stay here again.

Perfect location, wonderful hosts, incredible short term stay. Unit was fully equipped with everything I needed. Never any issues parking. Very respectful in shared spaces and attentive to maintenance/requests. Enjoyed my stay in KC, would recommend and would stay again!

I absolutely loved my stay here. D and P are so amazing. They were there if I needed anything. They just so friendly as well. Let me say the house is a historic house and this old house just spoke to me. I loved it. I would strongly recommend staying here and would stay here again if I were to come back to this part of the country. So everyone I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.
