Unbeatable Outdoor Paradise

Plain and simple this is the best apartment you will find on here. The location for outdoor access is unbeatable and right from the front door. You feel so at home every time you walk in and all of the amenities feel so premium. From the locally sourced hardwood and slate to cabin tongue and groove walls being at home here feels so cozy. Having access to the storage shed was also super helpful. We have a lot of gear and still had plenty of room. The apartment has a very purposeful layout which makes living clutter free really easy. It is unbelievably tranquil on the property and the within the surrounding area so when you step outside to go for a walk you get a great sense of calm. Any time we had a question Ken and Joanna were on it. They are absolutely phenomenal hosts and are truly kind, good human beings. If you’ve rented before you know how important this is. If we ever had to pick an apartment to live in forever it would be Hunger Mountain Haven.

Tamarack Lane - A wonderful Stay

Sara and I have been at Tamarack lane for over a year. It has been such a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, yet cozy. It location is centered near some of the best biking (Gravel and Mountain), alpine skiing, hiking, and canoeing Vermont has to offer. You could not get closer to being nestled in the green mountains while being only 10 minutes from the highway. We have so enjoyed the privacy and serenity of this hill side home with the convenience in our commutes. Ken and Joanna are some of the most gracious and accommodating homeowners I have ever met. They have welcomed us and treated us like family. It has been such a pleasure the be here and I could not recommend this place enough.

Home away from home

The Hunger Mt Lodge was not just a house but rather a refuge, "happy place," and home. The house itself is simply perfect. It is easy to see how much time and energy K and J have put into the place, which manifests in a warm and inviting atmosphereabout as quintessential Vermont as you can get. If you want the full quintessential VT experience, you just need to walk out the front door. The scenery and trails (at the end of the driveway) are unbelievable. I had the fortune of being there in the winter (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing down the street, etc.), but I can't even imagine what the other seasons look like! Pro tip: make sure the camera has lots of storage. What makes this property so memorable, though, are the people. J and K and their doodle are the kindest and most welcoming neighbors I have ever had. They went above and beyond to ensure that I not only had what I needed but also had the best experience possible. Grateful for my home away from home

A true home away from home

We had the most amazing stay here. This property is so peaceful and beautiful, we truly cannot begin to describe how stunning the scenery is from every window on the property. Besides this accommodation being comfortable and having everything we needed, the hosts were nothing short of incredible. They really made our stay feel even more welcoming and warm than we ever thought imaginable. They were quick to respond to our messages if we ever had questions, they fully respected our privacy and truly went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home. We only have positive things to say about them and about this place! If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful, comfortable stay with beautiful views, we highly recommend Hunger Mountain Lodge. We consider ourselves very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here and to have gotten to know the hosts. 10/10 rating :)

Hunger Mt. Lodge

J and K are incredible hosts and we had a wonderful experience staying in their apartment during our 6 month contract at Copley! Prior to move in, communication was outstanding and they made sure we had everything we needed to settle in. The unit was impeccably clean and well maintained, and included all the furniture and appliances you need to feel at home. The property location is perfect, just 10 minutes from downtown Stowe, downtown Waterbury, and I-89. We had more than enough privacy with the separate entrance and large yard. The views are beautiful and there are many walking, hiking, and biking trails you can access from the front door. K and J helped with anything we needed and always made us feel welcome. We look forward to staying here again during any future contracts in Vermont!

Great Place to Call Home

J and K are great hosts who are attentive and responsive to your needs while being incredible kind and welcoming. The apt. is meticulously maintained, clean and comfortable. The finishes are beautiful and tastefully done. The apartment has all of the modern conveniences you may be accustomed to. The property is tucked back in a private setting with a spectacular view of the green mountains, regularly providing gorgeous sunsets. Hiking and mountain biking options are right down the road and the lake is just a few minutes away. The town/village is just a few miles away and has everything you need from restaurants, grocery stores, farmers markets and a barn that hosts live music 3 days a week is just a few miles down the road. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for the solitude of being rural while having everything just minutes from your doorstep. Don't pass this property up!
