Apt 3-B 3 West Broad Street Tarrant Drug Building Historic District walk to VCU

My stay in the apartment was exactly what I wanted. Well furnished above one of the most well known and beloved restaurants in the city. Any little thing I needed or had a question about Jim or E were right on it and were an immense help. They were always willing to go above and beyond to make me feel at home and make my stay as easy and pleasant as possible. I can't wait to come back!

Very aesthetically pleasing apartment with high ceilings, exposed brick, 3 fireplaces, hardwood floors, lots of windows and great location! Walk out your door and there are wonderful restaurants, museums, art galleries and YMCA within blocks to mention a few things. I rode my bicycle to work everyday as VCU Health Center is 0.4 miles away. Belle Island and Brown Island are within a mile, also great to cycle or walk. C and J are wonderful hosts who went out of there way to make me feel welcome. I would gladly come back to VCU and stay in 3 West Broad Apartment B.

I absolutely loved this property! It is cozy and truly felt like a home away from home. There are black out curtains to help those who may be preparing to work a night shift. It is the exact image as portrayed in the images of the property. The property owners are always available if you need them for anything. They were pleasant and always ensure that you have everything that you need. It was the touch I needed to add to my experience in Richmond. It is literally in the heart of Richmond with a close proximity of access to VCU Health, restaurants, and shopping. The building is directly in front of public transportation, making it easy to not put wear and tear on your own vehicle. And it is free! It was beneficial to me because parking can be a challenged in downtown Richmond but I was able to navigate the transit system. There is parking available for tenants, so no worries there. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone considering living there. It is worth it.

This is a large 1 bedroom apt. It is beautifully decorated and within walking distances to restaurants and nightlife. The owners are easy to reach and respond very quickly. The Pulse bus line is right at the front door and made going to work at VCU so easy. I didn't have to drive and pay for parking. The apartment is stocked with everything you need. The place is located above a restaurant which is a local favorite with great food and convenient when you don't feel like cooking. There is one con, sometimes the street traffic and foot traffic from Broad Street can get loud, more so on the weekends but occasionally during the week. I invested in a good pair of ear plugs to sleep in and that fixed that issue. The bed is extremely comfortable. There is a rooftop deck with lots of seating. It does have coin laundry which is not the best, but they do give you quarters when you ask. It's just an inconvenience to have to ask so I just started getting my own. Overall it was a good experience.

Pros: Everything! This is such a cute, nicely decorated apartment. I loved my stay here, it is a 4 minute drive from VCU and about 20 minute walk. The landlords are very responsive and kind. There are so many restaurants and shops within walking distance and designated parking! I extended my assignment for 8 weeks and it was so easy. Cons: The apartment is in the city and can be loud at times on the weekend, but that wasn't a problem for me because I am not a light sleeper. I 100% recommend staying here.
