The best decision a girl could make...

My experience renting from Ms. Cindy was excellent from start to finish. The room was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, and the house always impeccably clean and fully equipped with anything you might need during your stay. Best of all, Ms. Cindy isnt just a wonderful landlord shes become a lifelong friend. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again!

I stayed here for about 8 months and I loved it! Everything presented in the listing was accurate and I felt very safe (which was important to me as a solo female traveler). Ms. C was so welcoming and very respectful of my space, and she always did her best to make sure I was comfortable. The place itself is located near the downtown area and not too far from Monterey/Carmel so there are plenty of opportunities to explore. Would highly recommend staying here if you have the chance :)

If you are looking for a safe, comfortable place to stay in Salinas, I would highly recommend this place. As a female traveler, safety and comfort are my priorities and not only have I found those here, I found great food and company. The landlord is a great cook and a great resource to have if you would like to explore the area. She is always available and we have a great time. I can't say enough good things about this property and would recommend reading all the other reviews because they mention all the other great points of renting from here.

Best Spot in Salinas

I absolutely loved my stay with C! She was the best host and Im so happy to now be able to call her a friend. Cs place had everything I needed and more. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom and bathroom and enough space for my bike in the garage as well. The neighborhood is very safe and close to Natividad Medical Center. Not to mention a quick and easy drive over to Monterey. I highly recommend Cs place as well as her cooking.

A home away from home!

C's place is spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated throughout! There was plenty of storage for all of my things in my room/bathroom. The house is in a safe area within 2 miles of Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, and I would recommend any traveler to stay here. C made me feel at home and completely comfortable. Shes an amazing host!

Amazing experience!

I currently live here and cannot recommend it highly enough! The owner is extremely kind and welcoming. She is an amazing cook and is always willing to share her food. She even grocery shops and I just Venmo her for the food. Also, she does all the house maintenance/cleaning so you feel like you are in a hotel. The room is the size of a master bedroom and has more than enough storage and closet space. It is decorated with art the owner created and you will feel right at home. The location is in an extremely convenient, cute, and safe part of town. I could not have asked for a better place to live in Salinas!
