Great experience

I stayed on this property for 12 weeks during my final clinical rotation with my wife and our dog, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The unit is detached from the main house and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although it is a cozy space, the closet and additional storage units provided more than enough room for our belongings. There is also a pullout sofa bed that works well for guests if needed. We felt very comfortable throughout our entire 12-week stay. It was clear that the landlords genuinely cared about our experience as tenants—not just through their words, but through their actions. They were communicative, thoughtful, and proactive in making sure my family and I had everything we needed to feel at home. I would highly recommend this place to students, traveling professionals, or even vacationers looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Awesome place

This is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed at. The property is beautiful and the unit is great. I stayed for almost a year while on a travel contract and I loved it. The property is stunning and peaceful, truly a home away from home. The unit has everything you could possibly need. The location is not far outside of downtown SD and pretty central to a lot of different hospitals if a travel nurse like me. The hosts are wonderful, very communicative and helpful with everything. Me and my pups really enjoyed are stay!

Beautiful property...but beware

The start of my stay was off to a rocky start from the moment I arrived. When I arrived, the landlords placed me in a different unit than the one I had initially requested. Instead of being transparent about the issues they were facing with my initial unit, they didn't say that there was a leak in the original unit until I asked about it. After a few days, I was able to get into the original unit I requested. Unfortunately, my contract was cancelled and I had to relocate to a different position. I tried to give the landlord as much notice as possible, offered compensation for the inconvenience, but instead, she caught an attitude about it. Told me I had to move out two days before the day I requested. Hid her cart so I would have to carry all my items by hand from the back of their property to the front. I have used furnished finders 4 times now and have never had an experience this bad. Beautiful unit but just be mindful before you rent from them

What a wonderful place to stay! Deborah and Mike were great to be around and it was so nice being able to bring my dog with me. She loved them so much! Thank you!

Wonderful

First of all. The Owner Deb is so Nice and oh so easy going. She lives on the property but is thoughtful and wont disturb you but makes herself available if needed. The property is Beautiful. Deb designed it herself and it is a site to see. It is just as lovely at night as it is during the day. The Casita perches at the highest level on the property and the walk to it is gratifying. Hard day? Walk thru the property and see and smell the jasmine. Inside the living area it is a studio but sets up like a one bedroom. Also designed perfectly. It has a washer and dryer too! I really enjoyed staying there as a traveling Therapist. Too short in my opnion. If I get another assignment. I am Definitely going to call Deb. rent it! You won't be disappointed.

Oasis of Serenity

This property is truly so beautiful and tranquil. As a travel nurse, being able to return home to such a relaxing & peaceful environment has been the best gift this cottage has offered me personally. What's better than sitting outside absorbing the stunning nature and critters while drinking your coffee before a shift or a glass of wine after your shift while listening to the birds sing & wind chimes? This is a one of a kind home that you absolutely do not want to pass up! This cottage has everything you would need & more -- like a sofa bed which has come in handy for my friends & family who visited! The owners, D & J are warm, kind, down to earth, & wonderful hosts. Their communication is top tier! They've made me feel more than welcome & taken care of. They go above & beyond to make you feel at home. They check in with you regarding extending your lease & are very accommodating to your needs. Living in this cottage is an experience in its own way, which is an added huge bonus!

Home away from home

I needed a place urgently since I am new to San Diego because of work. I found this this property and it was one of the few that I had interest in. I couldnt have made a better choice of places to stay. The owners of the property are some of the most down to earth very kind and overall great people to rent from. They do an excellent job with the maintenance of the property. It almost feels like I live in a place out of a fairytale book with all the flowers, trees, balconies and outdoor decorations. The unit is in the back separate from the rest of the units elevated higher so the view is amazing. Its very private and spaces for a studio. The design of the unit is what I like most because the kitchen is separate from the main living area which makes the places feel more like a little house rather than a studio. Everything you need is close by about 5 min drive and neighborhood is quiet always. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay for any amount of time.

A Garden Heaven

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. Its super secluded and the place really well designed! If we ever come back to SD this is probably where well stay. Deb is an excellent host as well. She gives you your space but is there if you need anything

Simply Outstanding!

Beautiful propertyexceptionally comfy and well cared for casita. Feels like home and not temporary which is what you want when its temporary. Immensely proactive & responsive owners. Just a beautiful spot! Super CLEAN!

Peaceful modern cottage in a sanctuary setting.

This peaceful cottage has a wonderful functional floor plan that provides a full kitchen and a living space that flows very nicely. The property has lush vegetation and which provides a very peaceful setting to relax and unwind or sit outside to read or study. The owners are well versed in rentals and make transactions very easy. If you are considering this as a rental, it is a must to go look at. It's difficult to put in a description or even pictures the wonderful layout and and the sanctuary setting.

Upscale Retreat

Safe, clean, modern mini mansion in a mini garden sanctuary owned by experienced caretakers that will be there for you when you need then most. They are veterans of what they do keeping all transactions very basic and simple.... like the good old days. Their traditional way of handling exchanges has been my greatest blessing as i get through most challenging times. They are angels and their sanctuary is heaven. If you are comfortable around dogs, maneuvering your vehicle on a steep hill, with a short set of well designed stairs to cottage, and walking for less than a minute to or from your car.... than this is a lovely gem.

Great living space on wonderful property - and working remotely!

Wonderful space on a lush property with easy access to the rest of San Diego. Looks as-advertised in the pictures, with new remodeling/appliances. Was able to work remotely out of the unit for an entire month, and could make easy trips into the city for lunch, dinner, etc. Kitchen came with basic cooking equipment and had ample storage space in the pantry. Bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and functional. Huge bonus is that it's dog friendly with a completely fenced-in yard and the other pups on the property are very friendly. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Perfect Stay

D is a great host with a beautiful studio/cottage! I travel with my two dogs and there was plenty of room for them to roam on their fenced property. The studio is very spacious with everything included that you could possibly need. The outdoor space is great, especially at night the fire pit. I absolutely loved my stay here, and if I ever decide to return to San Diego, I will definitely try to stay here again! Thanks so much for everything!
