an absolute dream

me and my partner stayed here for many months and i still can't believe we got so lucky. this property is completely private and feels like a vacation airbnb with the most beautiful views and lovely hiking trails all around. the landlords are incredibly responsive and helpful and made our lives quite easy, we had absolutely no complaints. the only downside is there's no official kitchen and the only sink is in the bathroom, but there is an induction stovetop for cooking so we were able to get by. we will always look back on this chapter of our lives as one of the most unique and special experiences we've had so far and i can't thank our landlords enough for everything they did for us :)

A was an amazing host for my travel contract at Stanford. The amenities were everything I needed and more. He was responsive and helpful in every way I needed him to be. It was a secluded feel which I needed after a long day. I also LOVED going on long walks/ runs right off the porch. The trails were a perfect addition to my time in California. 10/10 would stay again

Quiet, safe studio on beautiful hillside

We very much enjoyed our time in the studio. It is a safe and secluded place to sleep between shifts or do remote work. The internet was fast and reliable and the big screen TV was nice. We worked at Stanford and the commute was an easy 20 minutes. The interior of the studio feels fresh, modern, and clean with lots of natural light. It is nestled on a hillside overlooking a wonderful wooded valley. We also took advantage of the nature path near the property. The studio also has a fascinating history being the former workspace of a famous 20th century author. I often found myself sitting at the table by the screen door reading books into the night as I am sure he once did. The host was honest and stayed true to the contract. He refunded the security deposit in a timely manner. He is kind and easy to contact; the washing machine malfunctioned at one point and he was quick to have it repaired. We would love to stay here again!

Hidden gem

This was an awesome place to stay. Very comfortable, clean, quiet and nature just outside the deck. Tucked away in the Los Altos Hills there is no traffic sounds, just relaxing nature sounds. Would stay again if I travel his way.

Studio with a unique history and a beautiful view.

Charming studio with a cool history located in a wonderful and beautiful location. All the fixtures were of quality and it even has heated floors in the bathroom! My wife and I enjoyed our stay here greatly. Was lovely to have our coffee and watch the mist/clouds roll in off the hills every morning on the deck while watching deer and turkeys in the field next to the studio. Running, walking and biking trails/lanes are in abundance in the area. Pet friendly as well as we had our dog and cat with us. Highly recommend.
