Value of unit in rent

I rented Carlas place sight unseen and would advise against doing the same. During my stay, three incidents required police involvement, including a shootout in the adjacent lot. I twice reported possible domestic violence from a neighboring unit. Packages are left without weather protection I returned three rain-soaked deliveries. The appliances are dated and ventilation is poor; after I reported the washer/dryer making concerning noises, a downstairs tenant told me their ceiling was collapsing from water damage. Couches are uncomfortable, and cars idle in the lot at all hours. Carla herself was wonderful to work with responsive and kind. As a landlord myself, my concern isnt with her but with the units value. Given the size, safety issues, and dated condition, the price doesnt reflect what tenants should expect.

So cute and accommodating

Im a travel nurse and this property had all of the things I needed! I moved right in with no issues. C the property owner is amazing and even had small items like soap and laundry detergent ready for me to get me settled. C responds to my texts quickly, is very understanding and kind! She even had pamphlets for me and recommendations for local attractions. The neighbors are quiet, I work nights and had no issues sleeping during the day. The location is walking distance to hospitals and downtown. Took me only a few minutes to drive to prisma Baptist for work. Appliances all work well and there is even extra cooking supplies. Parking is readily available. Overall great experience, no complaints.

This property and landlord were amazing. First time travel nursing, and things were made beyond easy and accessible to me. Highly recommend to everyone! Couldnt have asked for a better first experience.
