Short Business Stay
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. It was clean, had lots of character and attention to detail, I felt safe, and it was peaceful. When I wanted entertainment, I was able to walk the neighborhood and enjoy some of the local restaurants and bars.
Clean and safe
I agree with the other reviews. Parking is tough on weekends, but I mostly commuted by electric bike which works very well in this neighborhood. Hopkins is uphill and not easy on a pedaled bike. You can rent Ebikes and Escooters, everywhere. So many great restaurants and pubs and shops within 5 blocks. Property is clean and on a safe street. Get you packages delivered to the post office one block away.
House in Baltimore
This place was nice and definitely gives you a taste of city living. Fells Point was great, but the parking is tough as it is street parking only and the area in very busy, especially nights and weekends. I did have issues with packages being stolen as well. But other than that, this place was great.
Perfect Home for Travel Nurse
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect home in the perfect neighborhood. It very much felt like home. We loved the historic details, including the brick walls, wood beams, and original door bell. Other areas we really appreciated was the 3rd floor laundry, and 3rd floor office with desk and chair. It provided a nice quiet space for my son to do homework. The first floor outdoor space with deck is also very nice. It is very private with enclosed fencing and a huge umbrella for shade and privacy. The security system with surveillance camera and alerts on all windows and doors, made us feel very safe. Durham Street is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Our host provided a parking permit which allowed us to park within a block of the home. Parking was never an issue. The neighborhood of course is great too. Tons of shops, restaurants, the harbor, farmers market, grocery, coffee shops, and convenience store are all within walking distance.
