Cozy Spot in Boise

You can't go wrong with this place and the landlord (I rented the unit next door.) It has plenty of space, a big backyard, garage, and access to the foothills just in your backyard. If you are considering renting or staying, do it! You will be comfortable and accommodated.

Horrible experience

This landlord charged a $2,000 deposit and violated her own lease agreement in returning less than half of it back to me, over 15 days late, and without any receipts for deductions. This landlord had the property's exterior renovated entirely while I was living there and had personnel entering the home at times not discussed and without my permission. She herself came over and shut off my AC unit in 100+ degree weather in August. She consistently arrived to this residence with no prior notice and desired to put pet-toxic fertilizer in the yard. She had me maintain the sprinkler system and turn on the valves and messaged me about the condition of the grass constantly. She did not follow the terms of the leasing agreement regarding moveout and the checklist I provided upon move in. If you want a peaceful place to stay in Boise this is not it. I am confident there are other places with landlords much easier to rent from and would love to save anyone from what I have experienced here.

Comfortable, roomy duplex in great location

This apartment was a fantastic find! The place has been fixed up nicely. The 2 bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen/dining/living room were roomy. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware (and I love to cook) and there was a good sized pantry for food storage. The fenced yard borders a lush canal and there's a covered porch and table for outdoor dining, which I used a lot! (The securely fenced yard is always key in my search for pet friendly housing so this was a gem of a find!) Then there's the ideal location! There are at least 5 trailheads within a 10 minutes drive or less and we loved hiking and mountain biking in the foothills. The neighborhood was also quiet and safe for walking from the front door. Oh and there's a garage for parking and gear storage too! Ideal! K, the owner, was so nice and helpful with whatever I needed and always quick to respond to any messages. I hands-down recommend staying here. It's a 10 minute drive to St. Luke's downtown.
