Amazing Spot!

Loved staying here, has an amazing view. Saw wildlife on day 1! Hosts are very friendly, helpful and always respond quickly. Space had everything I needed and more. Really enjoyed spending my time here.

Amazing Anchorage Escape!

I had an incredible stay at this property over the summer! The location was perfect for a remote and comfortable Alaska feeling with quick access to town and local sightseeing. The views were unmatchable: water, mountains, trees, sunsets that change on the daily, and wildlife! The only thing noisier than the shooting range and train tracks (not trouble for me at all but may be hard for someone with very sensitive hearing) was the sound of moose occasionally galloping through the yard! The owners are friendly, responsive communicators who are a wealth of knowledge on the area if you are looking for input/information. Other positives of this property were the hot water, easy access to laundry, comfortable bed, blackout shades, cozy vintage vibes, and a CAR! The basic and fun SUV was reliable for around town and for the adventures I took within a 5 hour radius. Not a great spot for someone who needs to be able to walk easily to stores etc and who prefers high-end appliances.

Peaceful Paradise

Such a magical spot. Super convenient location for getting to any of the hospitals or for adventuring on your days off. I often found myself just hanging out on the property, watching for animals, stringing up a hammock, and enjoying the sun passing over the mountains and ocean. It felt incredibly safe and the noise from the gun range/trains was easy to ignore. The owners are just delightful humans and so quick to respond to any requests or give recommendations for places to eat, hikes to go on, local sales, etc. The shower and the bed are both top notch, and the black out curtains did their job during those bright summer months. The decor is quirky and fun. It's the hardest place to leave of anywhere I've stayed, and I absolutely hope to come back again and again. 10/10 recommend

Amazing place to stay!

This is a fantastic apartment on a very private lot with amazing views of Turnagain Arm! I slept so well here (and I am generally not a good sleeper). NICE mattress and sheets in a dark, quiet bedroom. Nice bright bathroom and well equipped kitchen. One small issue is that the couch, although charming, is not very comfortable. We saw Grace! Or Olive? Not sure which. Just meandering around the yard and munching on the plants. Definitely a very special part of our stay! Hope you enjoy this place as much as we did. Absolutely loved it!

C and M were amazing hosts and the apartment suited my needs perfectly. The view was amazing and occasional wildlife was fun to see. It was a wonderful introduction to Alaska and worth every penny! I cant recommend it highly enough. :)

Peaceful retreat!

An exceptional location that also offers privacy, natural light and ambiance. Convenient to stores, outdoor activities, restaurants and the airport. The spacious layout is perfect for long stays, with thoughtful amenities provided. Excellent host communication and check-in.

Perfect Retro Pad!

This spacious one-bedroom apartment is the perfect getaway! Very cool 1960s decor, good shower/bath, comfortable bed, laundry room, full kitchen. All on a beautiful piece of property with great views including Fire Island. A very quiet and peaceful retreat. I highly recommend this place!
