Cute Little Italy/Bankers Hill
If we couldve stayed longer, we wouldve. Cute 2bd 2bath right outside Little Italy/Bankers Hill. A ton of restaurant options, and an easy Uber to Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Downtown. Very walkable and safe. Available parking! Great, attentive landlords!

Amazing Location!
I really loved living at the Curlew Cottage! Ive lived in multiple neighborhoods/areas of San Diego and this was by far one of my favorites. It is a mere 5 minute walk to all the main shops/restaurants in Little Italy and only about 20 minute walk to Balboa park. K and D were amazing hosts and always just a quick call/txt away if we needed anything. The condo is also right of I-5 so its very convenient to hop on the interstate and get to places quickly. The home is very close to the airport which is another huge pro but can be a bit noisy at times with the planes flying overhead. Overall great stay and would rent again if Im ever back in SD

Nice condo in Bankers Hill
Overall, a really nice stay in the Bankers Hill/Little Italy area. Walking distance to so many things! David and Kristin are great hosts and were very responsive when we needed things. The garage is shared with another unit. Street parking is usually available - unfortunately I did have my car broken into while parked on a side street, but in San Diego that's not super uncommon. The area generally felt safe and we didn't have homeless people wander on our street ever. The laundry is shared between all the units but I believe most other units have their own washer/dryer so you only really share it with one other unit. Our neighbors were friendly (a few couples and young families) and there were never any noise issues. There's an I5 entrance right near the condo so getting anywhere is super easy. I've also lived in downtown SD and I much prefer the Bankers Hill condo location over downtown! No central AC but there is a window unit. One bedroom is significantly bigger than the other.
