Great experience!

I stayed here for my clinical rotations in Savannah. Michelle was very helpful with anything I needed and made me feel at home, which I appreciated as this was my first time living by myself. I would highly recommend this property for any travelers!

Amazing space, cute animals, and a peaceful environment

My partner and I stayed in this lovely carriage house during a trip to savannah. M was great to work with and made everything effortless. The space is ah-mazing. The layout was perfect as it is an open floor plan- but it functions as separate living spaces without walls or doors. I could sleep while my husband watched the tele and vice versa without disruption. I appreciated the designated working space as my work is hybrid and it was lovely having a space to spread out. Did I mention the bathtub? I soaked almost everyday that I was on site- it was a sweet luxury. It is in a great neighborhood, peaceful, and within close proximity to most amenities. It was a pleasant stay and we would lease with M again without hesitation.

Nice large room rental

Great place to live. The area is so quaint and its a nice safe neighborhood. I would go walking in the area when I could. The owner is a very sweet and nice lady. Her and her son usually kept to themselves while I was living there. She's willing to accommodate your work schedule as well while you are staying there. The room is really large to keep most of your stuff in there and has its own private entrance. She does have a few animals but they were all so friendly and made the stay there more warm while you were there, esp if you have animals at home. I would definitely recommend this area for temporarily living. I would have stayed longer but my contract ended unfortunately. It is only 4 miles from DT Savannah. Its very close to most hospitals in the area as well. Also about a 20 min drive to Tybee Island.

I REALLY enjoyed my stay. Actually considered moving to Savannah! The space itself has excellent Feng shui. Windows on all 4 sides and vintage furniture. It's very close to downtown and the islands/beach. The neighborhood is lined with old oaks and historic homes. I plan to return next year!

Disappointed and cold

The Gordonston area and Savannah deserves 5 stars along with the people I came to know there. Come visit this area & downtown! This property was not as advertised and left me disappointed. Although owner was pleasant and unit was cute it lacked advertised necessities. There are 11 steps to get up to the 2nd floor unit (not in listing). First 4 weeks there was a service man out each week to fix issues. The washing machine had to be replaced, 2 burners off the stove were not working, I was handed the replacement for 1 to fix myself. Internet needed to be installed as the Wi-Fi from the main house was not strong enough to work from home, although I asked prior. Heat never made it above 63* (most mornings it was 58*) even with the landlord providing space heaters which I was expected to carry up/down stairs, repairmen stated the unit was broke but no repair made. You will not see your deposit back for 3-4 weeks and it is not in the contract but there is a nonrefundable pet fee.
