Comfortable stay

Stayed there for almost a year during a travel assignment. Toni was very accommodating. The room was comfortable and the area was nice.

An amazing experience!

I had an amazing experience staying at Ms. Tonis place. It is far more cozy than the photos, and Ms. Toni is a wonderful host! Would definitely recommend and stay here again if I get the chance.

Felt like home

Toni has a really nice place. It's well furnished, clean, and hygienic. All the basic amenities are available at the house and Toni herself is a great host. She makes sure your stay is pleasant and comfortable. I had a great time staying at her place and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Shelton, Connecticut or any other place near by.

Home away from home

I felt very comfortable in Toni's home. So much so that I stayed for 7 months. I enjoyed her company yet felt I had total and complete privacy when desired. Her home is very clean and comfortable with everything I needed available. She is located very conveniently to Route 8 and close to several hospitals. The neighborhood feels safe and close enough to walk to the cute downtown and riverfront park areas. Plenty of restaurants downtown and grocery stores Aldi and Shoprite are 2 minutes drive.

So cozy and clean!

T house was the perfect place for me! Everything is kept incredibly clean and organized. I slept so well during my time there. Not only is the house welcoming, but so is T! She is a great host and so incredibly kind! Ive definitely made a new friend! Her home is a must stay and I would 1000% stay there again!

Decent stay

Beautiful home at an affordable price. T maintains the house clean and spotless. She is very clear about her terms and conditions ( reasonable) and communicates them to the tenant upfront. She is very professional and also friendly . I had a decent time at her place. Location is close to all major hospital and also to grocery stores, gas stations and parks. Safe neighborhood

5 star stay!

T's place is beautiful! T was a very warm and welcoming host from day 1 and always made her guests feel comfortable during their stay. The place has all the essentials and the bus commute from the location is convenient. The place is always well-maintained and clean. The rooms are excellent, exactly what they look like in the pictures. Overall I had a very comfortable stay and would choose to stay there again!

Great Experience!

I worked at Yale New Haven as a traveler and it was an EASY 20 minute commute. This homes location and neighborhood is excellent- really close to everything! The owner, T, is very kind and considerate and wants you to feel comfortable in her home. The house is extremely clean and cozy- and I would love to be a guest in her home again if Im ever back in the Northeast!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at T's home, and I had a wonderful experience. T was always available and I could easily message her if I ever had a question. Great option for housing. I stayed 13 weeks at this location. It was clean, safe, and affordable. I would definitely stay here again.

Quite, safe and close to hospitals

House is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Many options for shopping near by. House is super clean and has everything you need while on an assignment plus more. T makes you feel welcome but also respects your space. House rules are clear and fair. T is also is open to ideas from travelers for making her home more comfortable for new tenants and making changes as needed and that are reasonable. Bonus, you could potential make a life long friend. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Clean, quiet neighborhood, and thoughtful landlord

I had an amazing stay in this property. If you love to stay neat and tidy, this is the place, but if you cant recognize a mess, youll learn to be one. Neighborhood is very quiet, no loud music or people screaming or partying. The landlord makes you feel at home and communication is outstanding with the tenants, which is a must. A plus*** If you need to get waxed or teeth whitened, just head down the basement for a service.

Great place to stay!

I would highly recommend this place! T is a very friendly and great host. She is very welcoming and generous with sharing her home. This place is located in a nice and safe neighborhood. Her place is as pictured as online. The space is kept very clean. It is centrally located close to many restaurants and grocery stores. I enjoyed my time at T's place and felt very comfortable. Had no issues or problems during my stay with T. She is easy to get along with and quickly turns into a friend.

Review

I would never recommend another traveler to stay here. I was not allowed to use the stove for the last 3 weeks, forcing me to find other housing. The owner then refused to prorate my rent even though this had already been agreed upon. She left notes in my bedroom, text me about non urgent matters while I was at work, wouldnt allow me keep a coffee pot on the counter, and laundry was only available 2 days a week. Her rules made me feel like I was walking on eggshells. Over all very negative experience, and I lost a lot of money renting here.

My home away from home

This was my first time staying in someones home. I loved it. She made me feel like family. The house was clean, neat, organized, & beautiful. I definitely dont want to leave, but I know if I ever have to come back she will make room for me. You wont regret this stay. Trust me.

The Host of this property is amazing. If you are looking for a home away from home, where it is clean and safe. You have found it. Very quiet neighborhood I am able to sleep and feel comfortable. When it comes to traveling for work I would have to say this is probably one of the best places that Ive stayed in my years of traveling. Grateful for being able to stay at this property and would stay again.
