Excellent Place!

I stayed here for 3 months over the summer and really enjoyed it! Caroline is an excellent host and the basement was very cozy. It stayed quite cool during the summer months which was an added bonus. The area is wonderful with plenty to do and a short walk from the bus stop. If I had any questions about where to go or what to do, Caroline always helped me out. If you need a great place to stay in Portland, look no further!

Nicest remodeled basement I have lived in, so far...

This apartment felt very cozy, well maintained, secure and attractively painted. Wide array of accessories and clothing organizers. The windows and safety equipment all operated well and provided more than adequate sunlight and ventilation. Lovely garden and neighborhood views from the windows. Ripe raspberries. Comfy, newer mattress (I did not try the fold out couch). Top notch hospitality from the landlady and sweet kitty. Excellent communication. Ample storage in every room. Quiet; limited overhead noise was rarely noticed in living room- not a problem. Kitchenette counter was small but functional and we were able to make decent meals. Deep sink and smaller refrig with decent freezer. Great take out and sit down restaurant options nearby. A very positive experience during a transitional family time. Thank you!
