Amazing Stay

Tamara and Kevin are a very welcoming couple who share their entire home with kindness and love. I am a traveling nursing who wanted to rent a room with a private bath and share the space. I got all that I wished for and more. I now have two new friends/family for life. They truly treat you like family including me in the family meals when I was home. The condo is in a very convenient and safe area with shopping and restaurants within a 10 minute commute. The hospital is less than 15 minutes from the house and the commute is easy. Tamara took me sight seeing and we went shopping together often. I forgot my work badge on day and Kevin brought it to me within an hour of calling. I couldn't have ask for better. I would book again with them if I ever go back to Albany in a heartbeat.

Home Away from Home

T and K were the Perfect host!! They made me feel Welcome from the time I walked thur the door til the time I left. My bed was comfortably and my room and bathroom was very clean. Their favorite saying was Our Home is Ur Home and thats how I felt. I was about 12mins from the hospital also which was a plus!! I really Enjoyed my stay!!!

Surpasses the set expectation

I chose this room to rent for the price, pictures and reviews...specifically the comfortable bed...for me, a must. The space is as described: clean, beautifully decorated, charming, comfortable, conveniently located & safe. T & K were genuinely invested (and successful) in making me feel welcome & @ home. At no time was my privacy or need for solitude violated and when I felt like socializing, I was met with open arms. I wish my contract had gone better. As it is, when I left, I actually cried (I am not a crier).T & K are amazing human beings. I started out renting a room, I unexpectedly gained 2 wonderful friends. As happy as I am to be home with my husband & family for some much needed time off, I seriously miss sitting down with a cup of hot tea & honey, having some amazing conversations, sharing a meal (Tamara is a wonderful cook) and having a great shopping buddy. Been traveling since Feb. 2019. You won't regret staying here...I wish every place was this great!

Gem of a House and Owners

I have loved my stay here because it felt more like a place to return too after work 'A Home' . very welcoming owners. You will not only enjoy your privacy but also a family environment. To me it felt more like I was a part of the family. Normal chit chat after work, great lengthy discussions at times. With my strict religious restrictions and day time eating schedules I was afraid that that could become an issue but Ms. T was so very respectful of even that. I had full use of kitchen and never even once felt that I was living in a strange place away from home. Words are less to describe their kindness and my stay. I just feel anyone who opts to stay in this place will want to stay there forever. It is a real gem home away from home. I thank you both Mr. K and Mrs T for making my stay so wonderful.

The Perfect Folks & Rental Situation

A new job brought me to Albany in January and I needed a place to rent for about 4-6 months while I looked for a home to purchase. I located T & K's place on Furnished Finder and thought I would give it a try. It was the perfect place for me! Clean, quiet, and a private bathroom were all must-have's. This home checks all those boxes. But this rental experience has been much more than just about the room. T& K have treated me like family. From day one, they wanted me to have the best experience I could have...and they delivered. I could come and go as I pleased, had full use of the washer/dryer, as well as the kitchen and living room area. T enjoyed helping me look for a home as we drove by many for sale together. The good news is I did find a home to buy; the bad news is I'm leaving a great situation. If you are the professional, quiet, respectful-of-others type, don't let this opportunity pass you by. You will not be disappointed! Thanks T&K for everything!

Clean, quiet and comfortable

This room for rent is very clean, quiet and comfortable hosted by a lovely couple and a small dog. The room itself is located towards the front of the house with a ceiling fan and TV, and a VERY comfortable bed. The bathroom is spotless with a shower stall located two steps across for the room so its for your private use. They will also give you space for your vehicle. I really enjoyed my stay here and I definitely book again given the chance. Im very picky about where sleep so this listing checked all my green flags, no red flags here!
