Well Furnished and an Overall Great Place
We had a wonderful experience staying at this backyard apartment. Everything was modern and well maintained. The primary bedroom was roomy with plenty of space for all my clothes in both the dresser and walk-in closet. The main bathroom was a definite highlight, with both a large walk-in shower and a comfortable soaking tub. The large fridge was a definite plus and much bigger than expected, which made storing groceries easy. Having two full bathrooms was perfect, and the second bedroom provided great space and privacy. Everything functioned smoothly, and the peaceful backyard setting added to the appeal. We'd gladly stay here again.
Welcoming 2BR/2BA
Linda is a great host and very welcoming. She's helpful and knowledgeable, but also respects our privacy. Her place is modern, comfortable, and has quality furnishings. The neighborhood area is safe and private, is close to shops you might need, and also near the Trolley Trail. We would definitely stay here again.
Our First Stop In Portland
Linda's space was the first place we stayed in Portland. Now, we feel like it was almost too nice! We felt completely spoiled with this comfortable stay. From the king bed, to the beautiful bathroom setup, we felt right at home at Linda's. She gave us our space, but didn't hesitate to check in to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The only reason we left is because there was another booking that required us to move on. Thanks for everything, Linda!
100% would stay here again!
The landlord, Linda has been accommodating on the get go to help out my roommate and I with staying in her wonderful home in the middle of our travel nursing contract. We were even able to move in days earlier! She was quick to response when I needed to get a hold of her and was very kind throughout my stay. Her duplex home, which I lived upstairs for 5 months have been such a wonderful experience. The place is clean and kept well considering it was recently renovated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed because I cooked a lot of my meals. It is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood where I was able to sleep soundly considering I worked night shifts. The garden around the house is maintained very well and it was a such a pleasure to walk around to see the variety of flowers blooming, picking fresh blueberries and apples from her yard throughout my stay. I even made applesauce for the first time using some of those apples so that was very special to me. The location is conveniently a short 10 minute drive along I-99 from Providence Willamette Falls hospital, where I worked at, which means it was close to so many restaurants and stores! I walked around the neighborhood a few times without any issues and even walked a short 5 minute walk to the local movie theater, public library and Goodwill that I will dearly miss! I mainly shop at Winco and Trader Joes and both were 15 minutes short drive from this place. If youre looking for a place to stay, look no further because this is the place to be! I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I were to take another work contract in Oregon!
Home Away From Home
Living at this duplex for five months was an absolute dream. It was my safe space to rejuvenate after working long hours at night. The beauty, cleanliness, and comfort that the home provided made me feel sheltered. And the support and kindness shown by the owner truly made me feel welcome. This duplex was a home away from home, and I definitely would love to stay here again.
Beyond expectations
While on my contract with OHSU, I decided to extend due to the wonderful experiences I was having on my off days. It was conveniently located a short drive from work, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of suburban area. There was plenty of space. Beautiful garden areas. Bike trails located very close by. L gave phenomenal recommendations that made my stay here even better than I had imagined. Beds were very comfortable and high quality. Master bathroom was perfect to refresh for work or soak the day away. Quiet, safe, and convenient.
Excellent home within a safe neighborhood and friendly community.
Quaint and cozy home with very safe parking situation and an even better public transport situation. The owner is extremely helpful and communicative, the home has everything you need to make it through an assignment or many. Excellent location with many grocery chains around, and a cozy locally owned movie theater with the latest blockbusters playing at an excellent price! Very pleasant experience overall during my stay, I would recommend this stay to many others.
Happy Home
L has created a beautiful place for guests. Her home is in a very nice neighborhood that is very walkable and close to the trolly trail which allows for much exploring. The unit is located through a beautifully landscaped backyard and upstairs into a very private, secure area overlooking the neighbors garden and water feature. Inside is a warm environment with plenty of space that I am convinced was built for relaxing after a long day of work or a long adventure. The primary suite and bathroom are so cozy, guest MUST use the bathtub. The main reason I chose L's home is because it is an upstairs unit with high ceilings; was so much more than that. L is easy to work with and allows you to keep to yourself if needed but is also a friendly face if needed! Cannot recommend this property enough!
Peaceful and Cozy Stay
If youre looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay this is definitely it! L is an amazing host that well help you with any needs or concerns. The main bedroom has a comfortable King sized bed and very spacious bathroom with a huge glass shower and tub to the side. Didnt even feel the need to use the other room but is has a nice feel like you never left home. The living room area space and kitchen with large refrigerator worked perfectly and looked like new. Honestly couldnt have asked for a better host to make me feel at home, definitely good memories to talk about in the future..
Comfortable secure stay
The Master bedroom is your own mini apartment. The bed is so comfortable matched with the down blankets to give you extra warmth. The Walk in closet has ample space and a dresser. The his and hers shower and sinks are immaculate. On long days from work, the bathtub is very relaxing. L is very knowledgeable about the area, and can give you great places to eat, shop, or go sightseeing. She was a great host that made you feel very welcome in her home. This is probably the best stay ever in the Portland area. Book this place and thank me later. You won't be disappointed.
