Treehouse Retreat Review

The property is definitely appropriately titled. This secluded retreat is close enough to city center to feel connected with the local community, while still be removed enough to feel like you are in tucked away in the woods. I would recommend having a car, but you can get around most of Eugene on a bike. The place is simple, well kept, clean, and has everything you'd need. The windows offer spectacular views of the trees (and the neighborhood turkeys and deer). On zoom calls colleagues would often comment on how envious they were of my current set up. When moving to a place that is connected to another home, it is natural to be concerned about the interaction with the host, but the host family was incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating. They are always around to offer assistance if needed. Overall, this is an excellent property that is as advertised. I highly recommend the stay.

Very peaceful

The house is located in a gorgeous area, up in the hills and it's so relaxing driving home after work. Deer and wild turkeys are seen daily. I picked this place because of the multiple windows, I love natural lighting. It has all the necessities, but no TV which was not a big deal for me. Great experience overall.
