Landlord stole my package and kept it for 3 months til i asked about vacancy.

I got to view both units personally- the upstairs unit is where all the money goes- the downstairs is decent but they don't put any effort into it. When asking about vacancy several months later i was informed that the landlord/realtor found and opened a package with my name on it, that i didn't receive one month before leaving there. Birthday gifts- damaged. There are other beautiful places close to the hospital!

I regret that FedExs error in delivering your package soured you on what had been a good stay in the basement unit. As I previously mentioned to you, the package sat outside in the elements unnoticed on a rarely used top floor exterior stair landing for several months before I discovered it purely by chance. Because it was outside in the weather for so long, any identifying information on the outside of the package was illegible. The cardboard box had obviously been soaking wet. Perhaps if FedEx had clearer instructions that you were in the basement apartment and not on the top floor of the main house, they might have delivered it to the right place. Unfortunately, I contracted COVID which delayed my forwarding the items to you. You could also have had made arrangements to pick up the items from me as you were still on the Cape.
