Quiet Townhouse with 2 beds and 2 baths with 2 car garage

Private/quiet location

This townhouse is a beautifully decorated end unit. The closet space is enormous with several closets in each bedroom. I am particular about comfortable furniture and beds and this has it all. The manager is most pleasant to deal with and very professional.

Great location

I stayed here while on assignment at Christus Highland Hospital. The location is really nice by Cross Lake. Its really larger than the pics show. The flooring was updated so theres no carpets. which is great if you have allergies. Theres a two car garage and the area is really quiet and safe. The realtor that handles the property is quick to respond. I had no issues.

Unprofessional, rude, unethical

Landlord charged us 400 dollar cleaning fee instead of 250. We were so desperate and liked the area we were willing to pay. She then randomly texts me my second month there a week after I had paid rent. telling me that she promised someone else the apartment for November and that i need to be out by the end of the month. As long as Ive been renting AND PAYING ON TIME AND IN FULL I didnt know that this was ethical practice to rent a place while someone is actively living there. Her answer was I will not discuss this any further. Im curious about tenant rights and if this is even legal. Being the fact she has been paid and has no justification to kick me out outside of the fact that she just feels like it.
