As a first responder, I expected basic respect and communication. After sending a $1,000 deposit from out of state, I heard nothing until April 30just days before my May 3 move-in. She was demanding, asking for first months rent before I saw the unit, which should have been a red flag. The unit wasnt ready at check-in: no essentials like hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, trash cans, salt, or pans. Her husband was still fixing things while she stood by managing him. Its literally in her backyardno excuse for the lack of prep. She promised a driveway spot, yet I got a $40 ticket for street sweeping. Despite her being a realtor who stages rentals, the unit was bare and poorly managed. After asking for a partial refund and finding a replacement tenant, she only returned $633 from my $1,000 depositafter I pushed for it. Her attitude shows greed, not hospitality. Travel nurses and first responders deserve better. Do yourself a favor and avoid this rental.

I would like to clarify several points for transparency. The $1,000 payment referenced was a security deposit required to secure the unit and remove it from the market, which is standard practice, especially for out-of-state move-ins. All lease terms, payment schedules, and expectations were clearly communicated in advance but this is something we had a issue with Maria since the beginning. Shortly after moving in, the guest chose to cancel her lease agreement for personal reasons. The move-out date was adjusted multiple times, despite being described as an emergency situation. As a courtesy, I offered that if I was able to rebook the dates she had committed to under the lease, I would refund that month’s rent but with the constant change of her end date, it made it more difficult to book someone even though we had 2 different inquiries ready to take over the initial dates communicated. This was an accommodation, not an obligation. Regarding parking, the property offers street parking only, with courtesy driveway access on street-sweeping days when coordinated in advance. Guests are responsible for observing posted street signs and complying with local parking regulations. Parking rules are city-enforced and outside of my control. The unit was functional and ready for occupancy at move-in. Any minor final touches being completed did not affect habitability. Furnishings and included items are provided as outlined in the lease agreement; specialty or personal-preference items are not automatically included unless previously agreed upon. The security deposit was handled in accordance with the signed lease agreement, and $633 was returned after documented deductions. The deposit is not a rental credit and is processed based on the agreed terms. I take pride in providing quality housing to traveling professionals, including nurses and first responders, and many have had positive experiences here. I remain committed to professionalism, fairness, and clear communication.

Great place!

This place was perfect. Very spacious with a lot of storage space. It had everything I needed. The landlords were very friendly and responded to everything I needed promptly. The place was clean, quiet, new and homey. I would stay here again, highly recommend!
