Travelers Delight
This was my favorite house in 5 years of travel nursing! The location is safe, private, quiet and serene. The proximity to the beach is incredible and all the neighbors are very friendly. I felt so lucky to come home from a busy shift at the hospital to this coastal cottage away from the city. Theres many restaurants, grocery stores, parks, and shopping centers close by. The home is thoughtfully decorated and has everything one could need. (It looks better than the pictures!) The owners are a wonderful family and were very responsive and helpful with anything I needed. I highly recommend this property and would not want to stay anywhere else if I find myself in Connecticut again.

A Slice of East Coast Paradise
Our stay at The Cottage will stay as one of the best experiences of our lives! My husband and I feel very fortunate to have had such a lovely place to be for many reasons: This Cottage is incredibly comfortable in all seasons (we lived through 3 seasons), in addition to having very fun decor, it was very clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we could need, cooking ware, bedding, even bikes and kayaks. The location is wonderful, close to the shoreline, an incredible view of the salt marsh and all of the fascinating shore birds, walking distance to restaurants and cafs, and it is very peaceful. Branford is a lovely town with friendly people, only 15 minutes from New Haven! But the best part are its owners. They help make your stay the best. Again, we will always keep this moment of time as special.

Cutest place ever!
If youre a traveler in the New Haven area, this place is exactly where you want to live! My travel partner and I stayed here during our first ever assignment at Yale Childrens Hospital & we LOVED it. The house is located right by the beach in the cutest little town. Its a super easy drive to downtown New Haven & in a very safe neighborhood. The house itself backs right up to a marsh (that we really enjoyed kayaking in) & is so cozy on the inside! The property owners are wonderful people, and we never had any issues while staying here. If youre looking for a home away from home- this is the place! We will miss Branford and this adorable house.
