We can't say enough about how grateful we were to have found this rental. The location was great which was situated between our new house build and my husbands work. The rental had everything we needed plus some things we didn't need but loved...the amazing views, 5 fully fenced acres for our dogs to run, fruit trees, within walking distance to running/hiking trails, and paddle boarding. The owners are so kind, helpful and accommodating. I can't imagine better landlords. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone!

A Great Stay in Newcastle!

This cottage was a great find! I enjoyed the 7 months I stayed there - the views and countryside are just beautiful in Newcastle! Micah and Carolyn were great hosts and very responsive at all times. Added bonus was the proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, mandarin/produce farms! And not too far off the freeway for travel as needed. All in all it was a great stay and I was grateful to find it! I definitely would recommend it to anyone looking in the area for a place to stay.

Beyond our expectations

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying here for 10 months. This cottage is close enough to all the things you may need for example Target, Trader Joes, Costco etc while still feeling like youre own personal oasis. The views out the living room and kitchen windows are beautiful, and never get old. On the grounds there are a plethora of different fruit trees to help yourself to as well. Theres also easy access to highways that lead to the airport or in the opposite direction, up to Lake Tahoe. All things considered, the owners were incredible, extremely nice and welcoming. We could not recommend this place enough!!!

Great experience and a beautiful location

My girlfriend and I stayed in this cottage while I was under contract for the year with a professional soccer team. We enjoyed fresh eggs, peaches, and lemons from the property. Stunning sunrise and sunset views from the front porch. Walking distance to the north fork of the American River and Folsom Lake State Recreation Area trails. We enjoyed taking advantage of the included gym membership and yoga classes. There is ample storage space and great views from inside the cottage. Any issues or concerns were promptly addressed and the property owner's were very accommodating to any or our needs. Excellent restaurants near by in Auburn, Newcastle and Loomis. Would highly recommend! We loved loving here!

Tranquil Oasis with wonderful hosts

The cottage is the epitome of an oasis away from the bustle of everyday life. There is a sense of serenity and peace all throughout the property as well as inside the home. Large windows offer stunning views while you do mundane tasks of washing dishes. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped and appointed. My husband and I extended our stay a few times to maximize our time at this location. Easy access to nature without being too far off the grid, with grocery/restaurants less than 15 minutes away. Our dog enjoyed her time and we had the peace of mind knowing she was safe in a fully fenced in yard. Our hosts, M and C, were very accommodating to all of our inquiries and were always immediately available by text/call. They allowed us generous space for our vehicles and gear and the home was stocked with enough appliances/utensils for our stay - and we cook a LOT. When we are in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay with M and Cagain. Thanks so much!
