Not worth it
I stayed here for 6 month. They charge you a cleaning fee but the apartment looked always the same, full of dust and the kitchen kept dirty dishes from the people that stayed before me for almost two months. The internet was horrible, for the first two months didnt work half the time. The worst part is that they still owe me my deposit, they dont answer my emails or texts messages. Belive me is not worthy.
Stay Away
the so called "manager" of this property is a headache to talk to.. very unproffesional and she will treat you like a child and not a tenant.. Will never answer your call and just text you. definitely in a wrong proffesion! So save yourself a headache and find elsewhere, i should have listened to the previous reviews. 1 fridge for 5 people. falling apart roof. dust everywhere. weekly cleaning is a joke. building next door can be loud as its a college dorm/place.
Convenient
Although South City Hospital is not listed as a nearby hospital, it is conveniently located about 5 miles away from West Pine Ave. There are restaurants, grocery stores, & post office with in walking distance too. The apartment was nice/cute. The mattress was hard as a rock. I didn't realize how much I needed that type of mattress; I slept well for the first time in years of traveling. I was happy to have a bathroom to myself. My roommates were nice. All in all, it was a nice stay.
Reasons why you would want to stay here for your next travel assignment
1- Rooms that stay hot (80F) during those beautiful summer days despite the AC set to 60F. 2- Paying 50 dollars extra for a balcony that is a safety Hazzard (per construction worker that management hired) and not telling the tenants about it. 3- Balcony door that opens due to the wind. Used a water case to prevent that from happening even after "it was fix" 4- One out of three electric plugs actually work in the room. Same goes for the living room. 5- Faulty internet services. 6- 150 dollar cleaning fees per person to clean your restroom and kitchen area 2-3 a month. 7- 50 dollars tax fees added to your monthly rent just because. 8- Up to 14 days to get your refund unless you remind them constantly. 9- 140 dollars fees to clean the room because 5 pieces of trash were left behind. This is deducted from deposit. 10- Called a "K" because I told T that I will write a review.Priceless. 11- Don't believe me? Experience yourself for the small amount of $1140.
Great place to stay
Newly remodeled and nice accommodations. My roommate was fantastic and the kitchen was convenient. I liked the 8 in 1 air fryer so much my partner bought me one for Christmas. Very responsive property manager and the minor issues I had were addressed promptly.
Great House - Communication Break with Management/Incorrect Listing Information on Pricing
Beautiful home and great roommates Poor Management - Very unprofessional Major Break in Communication Lost mail due to no way of receiving at the rental therefore I was told to mail to the manager's office - not even returned to sender/?Lost Wi-Fi is poor Biggest concern: Original listing was not as I paid (rent/cleaning/tax prices all different) House was not move in ready (recent remodel) had to be cleaned by the renters, I wish I could post pics I was withheld 100$ from my deposit due to a faulty battery powered lock on my door I reported three days prior to move out, no one was sent to fix - however, that would have been fixed with no charge had I been living there longer. Contruction keeps the night nurses up so please keep that in mind and even without construction the street is loud for night workers. There is no back yard as stated, it is a parking lot Outside of that I enjoyed meeting my Roommates And the Precious little eating place that is attached tis really good
