We stayed here for a few months and had a great stay! The home was well furnished and had everything we could have needed in it. The landlord and his partner (who both live in the downstairs unit) were always kind and helpful towards us. This rental is in a great location for exploring all that Honolulu has to offer, while still being in a quiet part of town!

Horrible experience

The owner's son manages" the property as she lives out of state. Paid a hefty cleaning fee and it had clearly not been professionally cleaned prior to our arrival (cockroaches in entry way, oven cleaner sprayed and not wiped out, dog hair all over sheets and much more). No a/c means sleeping with windows open so dealt with listening to his dogs bark at all hours, alarms blaring in the morning, and him come and go throughout the night. Moved out and received a list of damages" we had caused that were all lies, we in fact left things better than we found them. After providing as much proof as we could to dispute it, they still kept some of our deposit based on their false claims that we had no way of proving we did not do. We have never had an issue, never had a deposit kept, and had many landlords willing to vouch for us. Would not recommend staying here as it seems to be a recurring scheme where they think it is ok to keep tenants deposits when no damage was done.
