Guest Suite Located Walking Distance to Salem Hospital

A great stay

I stayed here for my contract at Salem hospital. I don't believe you could find a better location to stay for a contract there. It's close enough to walk to the hospital, if you're into that. It's far enough outside of the old town to make it enjoyable to visit there. This is essentially a studio apartment, with private bathroom and shower. Yes, the laundry is technically in the room, at the bottom of the stairs, but K is very good about asking before doing his laundry. I feel very comfortable staying here, and I would stay here again if work brings me back.

The owner K is such a sweetheart He made sure I was comfortable and safe at all times. He's so respectful I now consider him family We call each other til this day Could not ask for anything, anyone better to rent from Anyone who rents from him, I promise,you won't regret it I just love him for having such a big heart Its rare to find such people. If ever in the area again I'll choose his place over and over Such a great experience with such a pleasant soul LT

I stayed at this property while working at Salem hospital, no complaints, private suite, within walking distance to Salem hospital, close to shopping centers

Great Stay

This is a great location! It took me only 5 minutes walking to get to work and K is a awesome host! He told me about places to visit in Salem and was very accommodating about my move-in dates and times. Im sad I only could stay for a couple of months, but hoping to come back to Salem again. Location was also very close to downtown which made going out on the weekends fun.

Convenient

The place is conveniently located, walking distance to Downtown Salem. If you working at Salem Hospital you can see the Hospital from your window. The landlord( K) is very attentive and respectful of personal space, even though to access the washing machine which located at the bottom of the stairs leading to your living quarter he makes sure to ask for permission to open the door. The place is very quiet, no children & pets, the neighborhood is picturesque.However, the living quarter is located in a repurpose attic with all amnenities necessary: fridge,wifi,microvave, table, smart TV and private bathroom. I hope Mr Keith install a new AC but besides that the place is perfect for someone working at Salem Hospital.

Not as advertised

Owner seems nice at first. Owner agreed before I rented that my husband could visit then kept 55$ of deposit for husband visiting twice, yet I spent 30 of 90 days at home in Florida. No visitors allowed. No access to common areas. Was not told about random man that lives next to my room door. Wasnt told washer is in my my room, has to be left open for them to do laundry. Ad lists kitchenette, there is a mini fridge/hot plate/microwave in closet. Cant cook, water access is a tiny bathroom sink, cant wash dishes. Overpriced place to sleep, misleading ad. Felt like an unwanted guest walking past people every time you come in front door. Very awkward living situation, do not recommend.
