Great stay

Ivan and Rosie are wonderful hosts. The apartment is quiet, private and hidden, with parking right out front. Anytime I needed anything or had a question or concern, Ivan addressed it immediately. Especially with the location being so close to the city, it made getting to work in San Francisco so much easier. There is also a bus stop right out front for those that don't have a car. The size of the one bedroom was perfect for me with ample living room space. There is a shared laundry space which is very accessible and convenient. I hope others get to enjoy this property.

Do not rent this property. Landlord is unreasonable. Refused to pay me any of my $1500 security deposit due to a quarter sized tear in the paint on the bathroom wall from a command hook to hold my towel. When I tried to have a conversation and come to terms on this I was meet with disrespect.

Great experience!

I had a pleasant experience staying at this place! It was clean, private and identical to the pictures. The proximity to my job was exactly what I was looking for. I always worry about the neighborhood when i reserve places but I felt safe the whole time. Ivan was very respectful and always responsive to any questions I had. He introduced me to his family and even invited me to a birthday/gathering he had in the backyard. Made me feel so welcome. I wanted to rent it for another 3 months but it was already booked.

Nice at a Cost

To start off, every time I had to do laundry I basically had to ask for permission, which felt very invasive. I couldn't turn on the outside lights (why put them there if they cant be used?) It felt like a very controlling environment. Never offered me clean linens; I had to wash and reuse the one set that was already there. Not sure why driveway is advertised on this listing since the owner barely wanted it to be used. Also the wifi is terrible!! I had to rely on my own data most of the time. Good luck renting from this landlord. I lacks professionalism and comes off as cool but is actually very controlling. And don't bother having him write you a contract (which is typed from the mail app of his phone), as he doesn't follow what is on there anyway!
