Home away from home

I had a great stay with Mr and Mrs G. They were very welcoming and their home is located in a great location. They are located near supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants within 5–7-minute drive. There is also a target, Starbucks and Sephora located nearby. If you enjoy playing tennis there are 2 public courts within 10-12 minutes away and a tennis center 5 minutes away for classes. The highway is close which made my commute to work very easy. South Florida has tons of things to do. I was out and about every weekend and sometimes during the week lol. My stay was awesome. I felt very safe and welcomed and they respected my privacy. I would recommend this host to my fellow travelers.

I stayed here for 4 months during my clinical rotation at Memorial Regional/Joe DiMaggio. The home is centrally located, just minutes away from the hospital, beach, shopping etc. The home was clean and quiet which allowed peaceful study time. There is ample parking and was allotted my own spot due to my erratic schedule. The hosts are very kind, accommodating, and genuinely interested in you enjoying your stay.

Perfect Home Away from Home

I stayed here during my medical school rotations, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The room was beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, spotless, and offered complete privacyperfect for both rest and focus. The house itself was quiet, which made it an ideal environment for studying, and I felt completely safe throughout my entire stay. Mr. and Mrs. Grant were incredible hostswelcoming, kind, and respectful of my space, while also making me feel at home. Parking was a breeze, and the location couldnt have been more convenient: just minutes from the beach, major highways, the and shopping centers. I had an amazing 5 star stay and genuinely wished I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for anyone needing a peaceful, well-located place during their rotation or visit.

The Best!

Staying with Mr. and Mrs. Grant was the best part of my time in Florida. Their hospitality, their kindness, their wisdom, their words of encouragement all contributed to making my stay enjoyable. I could go on and on about how much of a blessing they have been. From the very first day, they welcomed me like I was part of their family- like their very own daughter. They were always checking in to make sure I was comfortable and doing well mentally and emotionally, in addition to giving me valuable advice to help me overcome personal difficulties. My space, including my room and bathroom, was clean and very pleasant. It was beautifully decorated, which made me feel at home. There were a variety of cleaning products and toiletries provided so I never had to worry about going out and purchasing them. They were also kind enough to include complementary drinks and snacks. As a med student who needed a quiet place to study after returning from the clinic, I never had any issues with being able to concentrate. The neighborhood was very calm, safe, and peaceful. Sometimes I studied on the patio, which provided a serene and tranquil environment that fostered deep focus. Every part of the house was kept in pristine condition. I loved how I could see nature from outside my rooms window. I rented a vehicle while I was there, and there was more than enough space in the driveway for me to park my vehicle. My clinical rotation was based in Miramar and Weston, which was an easy 25-30 minute commute from the house. On the days where I had free time to go out and explore South Florida, there was never a shortage of things to do and places to go. Hollywood is conveniently located in between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, so whether I wanted to go to the beach, go shopping, grab a coffee from Starbucks, catch a movie with a friend, or dine at new restaurants, getting there was easy and efficient. I made many great memories during my stay. My favorite part was having evening chats with Mr. and Mrs. Grant after a long day. I now have a new family in South Florida. It was very emotional having to leave, but I cannot wait to return for my future rotations!

I was extremely pleased with my stay! The hosts made sure to keep the place very well-maintained. As a student, I need a quiet space to study, and I did not have an issue. I felt at peace and safe in their home. They were very mindful, and always ready to provide guidance and/or support if needed. The hosts were not intrusive, and I had my privacy. I came with my car, and parking was not a concern. Also, this place is great, in terms of location, because it's centrally located and the highway is nearby, and I was able to get around with no problems. There are many areas (library, YMCA, Hollywood Beach, shopping places, etc) that are easily accessible/closeby. There are many more great things I can say about this place, but overall, this was home away from home for me, the neighborhood was safe, and the hosts made my stay very enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at this place to anybody, and from a student perspective, this place is definitely a great one for externship or clinicals.

Great Location and Beautiful Home close to Everything in Hollywood, FL

This property's owners are wonderful hosts who make you feel welcome throughout your stay! It felt like staying at a cozy Bed and breakfast the whole time. As a healthcare professional who needed somewhere to stay relatively close to my job, this place was perfect! It was a couple miles from Joe Dimaggio Childrens/ Memorial Regional Hospital and close to everything else, including shopping which made it super convenient even without a car! There is plenty space in their big driveway to park if needed. The hosts were friendly and always mindful of my work schedule, so it was always quiet. The home is very clean, well-kept and situated on a secluded spot in the neighborhood. I will miss sitting in the backyard patio surrounded by greenery watching the birds and butterflies play, very peaceful scene after a long workday. Your safety is their main priority and I definitely felt safe in their home and neighborhood. All in all, it was a great stay! Downtown and Beaches are 10 min away!
