A wonderful 6 month stay

My husband and I had a wonderful 6 month stay here. The attention to detail, great furnishings and style made this living experience our best yet. We have been in the traveling medical field for nearly 6 years! What we loved most is the sleep number king bed on this luxury modern lower frame and the coffee mornings in that cute and wonderfully restored retro kitchen! The living room has this really great Chesterfield couch and trunk sculpture turned coffee table. The large TV made for cozy nights after our long days. The bathroom is amazing. Not pictured is the finished basement laundry and giant closet! You drop your clothes down the laundry shoot and do a load while getting ready in the spacious area. At first we wondered why there wasnt much closet space upstairs and then, after speaking with D did we learn it's a way to keep the room less cluttered. We now do this at our home. In winter the radiators were splendid and in the summer the A/C was perfect! We were sad to leave.

BEWARE-false advertising

Built in 1923 and the bathroom is the only room that has been updated. The kitchen seems to be a period piece. The stove had to be lit with a match, and the kitchen sink showed every day of the 99 years of use. This house had no heating and no cooling. A big issue since it was in the 30s with high winds. I have traveled the world-including less developed countries, and I have never seen anything this bad. The one bedroom" was actually a mattress on the dining room floor. No closet, and open to the sitting room and the kitchen. No privacy at all. The kitchen furniture was an aging patio set. The worn couch was hiding under a blanket. The towels were threadbare. I literally burst into tears at the thought of spending a single night. I felt unsafe in the neighborhood and worried that leaving my car on the street would be a bad idea. The list of amenities is inaccurate and the glowing reviews call out features that do not exist in this property. Zero Stars. Complete misrepresentation.

Exactly What I Needed

I recently rented this unit for a couple of months while in town and I had a wonderful experience! I could really see the attention to detail in the decorations and furnishings. The beds were very comfortable, the wifi was solid and the Kitchen had everything I needed (I LOVED eating breakfast in the corner booth!!) I will definitely return to this property when I come back to Pittsburgh. Thanks for having me!
