Cottage in the ranches!

I enjoyed life in the country here for 2 months this fall. The hosts were helpful and good natured. It's truly beautiful in the ranch lands. I took long bike rides up to Shasta Lake, and loved driving to Redding down the Old Oregon Trail Rd. Bursting with life out here, including deer, quail, birds, and many ranch animals too. The property is first rate. The guest house is a private, stand alone cottage next to the pool. Excellent wifi, but cell signal was spotty. Cell connections went through by connecting the phone to wifi, no problem. Nature is epic out here, mountains, lakes, the Sacramento River. Days have big sky and nights are starry. Lots of eateries and restaurants, and a major shopping center in Redding 10 minutes away. I genuinely like the area. A car is a must.

My Sanctuary

What a beautiful place! The location and home are beautiful. It is located in a safe area in the country, but close enough to town for easy commuting distance. The owners are wonderful people who made me feel welcome in their home for shared space of the kitchen and laundry room. It is a quiet, peaceful setting to just relax on the property, use the pool or hot tub and take a nice walk. It was my home away from home for several months and a great place to return to at the end of the work day as a traveling therapist. I would definitely go back.

Cute, cozy and comfortable!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in the guest cottage for a few months and we loved it! The owners of the property were very kind and gave us plenty of space and privacy. The quaint cottage has everything you need - private bathroom, comfortable bed, mini kitchen and plenty of closet space. It was an extra bonus to have access to the pool and washer and dryer. You won't regret staying here. Plus they have the best cat ever. Highly recommend.

Incredible property with natural beauty galore

This place is pure magic. I travel all the time and have rarely come across such a beautifully designed space. Close enough to be convenient to every shop and amenity in town while remaining safely settled beyond the reach of any town traffic and noise. A country oasis no one should miss.

Calm Oasis

This beautiful cottage served as a soothing respite during an extensive road trip. Upon arrival, I was immediately moved by the quiet stillness that surrounds this property. It's a great place to escape the hustle of the city and be able to think and breathe fully while still within reach of Redding. The oaks surrounding the property are magical. This spacious cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The hosts were warm and inviting and gave us plenty of privacy. I especially enjoyed the raised beds and the chickens and wildlife. I highly recommend staying at this cottage. Did I mention how calming this place is? It's its best feature.

Peaceful welcoming and just the best place to stay!

Ive stayed in this guest room so many times over the years and it is by far the most comfortable, beautiful and restful place. I always feel rejuvenated after being in this quiet country setting. It feels like staying in a resort! I would recommend this place to to everyone. It is by far my favorite!

This is our favorite place to stay. The owners are amazing and the property is off the hook. Warm, comfortable, cozy, and everything we ever wanted. If you are looking for something in Redding you should stay at this place.
