Do not stay here

There are a couple positives to this place, the historic charm and gas stove but here is why I gave this property one star: 1. The neighborhood. There is an alleged drug house right behind the property and homeless people can be seen rummaging through the trash on a daily basis. On one occasion, they even slept on the patio. 2. Repairs. Fireplace, driveway, and plumbing need MAJOR repairs. I was unable to take regular baths and very short showers because the owners unwilling to fix the plumbing. 3. Cleanliness. Upon arrival, I had to thoroughly clean under all the furniture and kitchen cabinets because they were filthy. There were tons of holes in the wall which had not been patched and painted. 4. The communication with the owners was rarely timely, especially when it came to urgent repairs. 5. Mail is often stolen off the porch from deliveries like groceries or Amazon. Ive stayed in several furnished homes around the world over years, and by far this was the worst.

Great place. Very spacious. Walking distance to Safeway and great restaurants. The area around this neighborhood is a little rough with homelessness and crime but the neighbors are very friendly.
