Beautiful historical home close to everything

My stay

This home and location was a great experience for me. Semaj offered all the amenities a tenant could ask for. The home was fully equipped for a convenient and comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything to offer, no need to go out and buy any appliance other than your food. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept with a nice and caring neighbor across the street. I'd stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay

I stayed here on an 8 month contract. Cool in summer, warm in winter. I enjoyed my nightly walks around the neighborhood after work looking at the historic homes. The short commute to SGH couldn't have been more convenient. I stayed during spring, summer, and winter; snowy streets were always cleared so never had an issue getting to/from work. Landlord James checked in regularly and was quick to address any concerns.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST STAY

First of all, the landlord is absolutely the kindest person. He consistently checked in to make sure that I was comfortable and have everything I needed. He came in from time to time to upkeep the home, clean, etc. which is so appreciated. He's more than just a landlord, he's genuinely a cool, friendly guy! The place itself is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from dishes and utensils to a TV, cleaning supplies and cookware. All you have to worry about bringing are your essential personal belongings. I actually came here after a rough experience with a previous landlord on Furnished Finder, so finding someone so kind, considerate, and helpful who provided everything I needed and more was such a relief. If you're debating between this place and another, choose this one. I promise you'll enjoy it and won't regret it!

Best landlord

Just finished up my stay. Mr. Semaj is the most caring landlord Ive had. He takes great care of the property, its very safe, and the home has a lot of appliances. I cannot recommend this property enough.

Awesome place

Hiuse is very nice and large. WD in basement(new models), kitchen fully equipped, owner very easy to deal with and just an outstanding man. If ever in Detroit area would highly recommend his property.

Super Hospitality!

Owner went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. Even when I had last minute things going on, he took time out of his personal schedule and accommodated me. Beyond grateful for his hospitality!

Great Experience!

I am a travel nurse, rented the smallest room in the house. It is a decent sized room with its own TV, new sheets & pillows. This house held many surprises. Although older it is clean with lovely refurbished interior, an awesome kitchen, lots of nice pots & pans, house alarm, in a safe neighborhood. The owner is friendly, welcoming, respectful, & very helpful. Anything goes wrong he is right there to fix it. Anything we needed (shared with two others) he gets it. Since my arrival he provided brand new appliances (coffee maker, electric can opener, blender, toaster) in addition to what was already there. Super washer & dryer. He was new to renting to profesionals- travelers & was open to suggestions! He does a great job of weekly cleaning! He is a world traveler with his wife & has many suggestions, tips & wonderful stories. He enjoys trying new foods; I cooked & shared some of my cultural dishes with him. I highly recommend this place. If ever I come back would love to stay there.

Hidden gem in the city

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood. At first I was a little apprehensive about staying in the city, but once I got here it was like home. The house is actually nicer than I expected. I had the bigger room which was more than enough space. When I first arrived I didnt have my car, but there is plenty of small shopping/eating in walking distance. My host was great, I liked that I got new bedding and towels. 9/10 stars. If I ever come back, this will be my place!

Great stay

Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood. Security is taken seriously but never had any issues with noise or neighbors. The house is clean with all the extras(dishes, pots and pans, oven, microwave, washer, dryer etc). In a convenient location. The owner is very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this house for a safe and comfortable stay.

Professional Stay Location

I HIGHLY recommend this house the best very warm welcoming the owner is awesome very helpful this house clean, safe environment nearby varies shopping centers & restaurants as for me it was close to the hospital I was assigned to...great neighborhood to exercise also, if I every have to come back this house definitely will be my CHOICE.

Location Staycation

Cozy stay. Great position for small restaurants, convenient stores, and your local CVS. Everything is in walking distance. The home itself has the necessary amenities needed as well.
