Location, location, location!!!

I enjoyed my stay at house very much. Excellent location. Walking distance to many cool coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Owner is friendly and helpful. The area is always monitored by cameras and I felt safe around the area. I had a great experience staying here.

Nice location, language issues

Overall it's a good location for almost everything, nice kitchen and spacious fridge for those that cook. I only stayed one month but it was enough to fathom that the landlord has some issues with the English language, thereby making some interactions weird. A simple attempt at small talk ended up being an accusation on me about how I disparaged her honor by insinuating she can't fill all of the house's rooms. She took it personally and found a way not to give me back my deposit. So beware.

Place is in a nice neighborhood walking distance to restaurants, movie theatre and bus stop and train stop. Walking distance to UNM. House is clean one story and gated that is locked at night. It has camera around the house with ring doorbell and smart lock. The host closely monitor the camera with her cell phone. Parking is inside the gates. My room is spacious with queen bed, cotton linens,blackout curtains and desk. The living room is spacious so with the kitchen with a big island. There is also a patio with grill. Tae the host even cooked shabushabu dinner a Japanese dish with a chef for us, my family and her students. By the way she teaches Japanese on line and at her house . She is friendly and takes care of her tenants well. I'd love to stay here again if i get another contract.

fantastic place

I stayed at this location for several months over the summer. There are a multitude of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and a bus station besides. The room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. All of the common areas are well-kept and easy to work in. My experience with Tae has been nothing short of wonderful. She is very accommodating and responsive to any concerns you may have. The gate to the house is secured with a padlock at night for security reasons, and Tae would always wait up to make sure that I got back safely before locking the gate. I've always known her to be very even-tempered and reasonable when it comes to unexpected issues. I have zero complaints about either the house or the landlord and would definitely stay here again.

Great Host

Very secured location with private parking and cameras. The host would wake up and make sure the light was on for me when i returned in the middle of the night due to hospital hours. She was very understanding when i had to abruptly leave due to a death in the family. She was an amazing host. Will definitely stay there again if assigned to New Mexico.

Super convenient and accomodating

I stayed here while on an assignment at UNM, which was super convenient. I walked to the job most days. The neighborhood is also nicely walkable with tons of fun shops and restaurants. T was a great host! She does run the house like a den mother, which means part of staying there is having a "chore" to do, but if you just pick up after yourself it's a non-issue. She's always looking out for her tenants though, and was very gracious and accommodating when I dumped a glass of red wine on the duvet, and when I unexpectedly had to stay an extra night due to a cancelled flight. My room was decently sound proof and come with blackout curtains. Overall, I would definitely stay here the next time I swing through ABQ.

Cozy place, convenient to downtown, generous landlord

The place is big and spacious, not at all congested inside; the kitchen is good and navigable, you will have roommates who are by and large kind and nice, the landlord Tae is a nice, helpful woman who assists in a helping hand. The house is 10 min from downtown by car, or even less, and it is close to UNM and the hospital. There are many different restaurants in the area. The yard is a patio, but you have great views of the Southwest skies from it anyway. Well insulated, warm inside.

Great place for travel nurses

I have stayed in this place for 2 different contracts as a travel nurse (13 weeks each time). I loved that I am able to cook and the parking is fenced in. The location is very accessible to the groceries/stores/gas stations, to my work (Lovelace and UNMH), and it is only 10 minutes drive to the airport. If I ever get another contract in Albuquerque, NM, I will for sure come back to this place as I am very satisfied with my stay.

Beautiful home

Home is beautiful, comfortable and local to many things in Albuquerque. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops and other entertainment. Very close to UNM campus. Landlord is fair, nice and responsive. If you read her lease agreement there will be no surprises as she follows this closely. Would rent again.

I wish I didn't have to leave!

I loved staying here for many reasons. Close to the hospital where I worked. Safe and secure. Price, Owner was awesome and very inspiring in many ways! Near a lot of needed services (food, car, shopping, etc.) Absolutely loved Tae. I was extremely happy with T...very warm and compassionate and understanding and an amazing person to get to know. I enjoyed my fellow roommates and got along with everyone. I wish I had more time there...highly recommended!

Nice property, bad landlord

This property has easy access to explore Albuquerque with a short commute to the hospital for work. The landlord, however, demands that her tenants scrub every inch of the house like servants. Despite her doctorate in educational linguistics, Communication with her is painful. She resorts to screeching about any perceived slight and micromanages her tenants. Ive traveled for work for years, staying at extended stays, airBNB, VRBO, and other furnished rental options. Ive never had a landlord as difficult as T. Proceed with caution.

perfect place

The place is very convenient, it is near restaurants, a gas station and the bus stop. I have a pretty easy commute each time I work. The owners are pretty accommodating as well. They respect your privacy and space and they maintain the house quiet. I love to stay here again next time I get an assignment in ABQ.

Great stay!

T was a fantastic host! The home was clean, organized, and quiet. She was very responsive to any concerns. She did everything to make me feel comfortable. T is kind and friendly, I would 100% recommend and stay again!

A Very Nice Stay

The bad review rings false to me, as I had a really wonderful stay at T and E´s place. I had a hard time finding temporary housing when I first moved to Albuquerque, and T was very responsive and thorough. Yes, the lease is long but in it she lays out her expectations very clearly so there's no confusion. I found T to be very friendly and accommodating, and I like that she lays things out so she doesn't get taken advantage of. I actually have an issue with being too warm, and T discussed this with me before I moved in so I knew clearly what temperature the house would be to make sure I was okay with it. There was an issue with the smoke detectors while I was there, and it was dealt with promptly with good communication. E was also very friendly. I am in grad school and spent most of my time in my room, so it was very nice to have a desk there. I liked the gated parking, and the other tenants in the house were respectful and quiet. I would stay again!

Amazing Stay, Close to Hospitals!

- Security: Property is surrounded by fences and cameras, fences closed at night and open early morning, front door is a numeric keypad, well lit area, own parking space within the fenced area. - Proximity: Major hospitals are near by 5-10 min, near central avenue which has plenty of restaurants and shops to go to you can literally walk to a lot of different places. - Price: Price was cheapest in the area at the time of renting, shared restrooms x 2, laundry, and commons areas. Also you will have to do weekly chores which are not that bad or hard. You have to put a deposit down, but will return after stay. Damages of course will be accounted for. - Owner: Owner is awesome, she is very specific about house rules and outlines everything in the contract so if you just follow the rules you will be alright, she is very accommodating with request and easy to talk to if you have a problem, she tries her best to work with you. Also she responds very quickly to questions or concerns.
