Fortunate Find

I had a wonderful stay here Belmont. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. You can get into the heart of Boston in 20 min, so it is the perfect compromise if you want to be away from the noise but still want to explore the Boston area. The location was centrally located between several hospitals so there are many options if you work in healthcare. The space is exactly as advertised.It was very clean with a monthly cleaner to make things feel refreshed. It was well equipped with closet space and drawers. My favorite thing was having the extra study/tv room. It allowed me to get out of the bedroom without feeling like I needed to leave the house. I felt very comfortable in the common spaces as well. Colleen, the host was wonderful to rent from. She felt like a friend and was very helpful during my stay. She is well connected and knows the Boston area, so she was a fantastic resource. I highly recommend this listing. Hands down my best Furnished Finder experience yet!

Amazing Belmont

The pictures do not do this lovely home justice and it is just that a home filled with laughter and love. There's 3 huge closets and more room than you know what to do with. My first day here my roommate took me out for dinner because I had been on the road for 2 days. It was so welcoming! Next morning we went on a dry run to my job. She explained what lanes I should stay in and the traffic patterns around the rotary's. I had no worries. She drove me to the little downtown area of Belmont filled with shoes and people walking and sitting outside. Children eating ice cream and runners exercising. Sweet little area where I felt safe. I picked up running out here and met the neighbors. I absolutely love it here. The foliage of the fall was breath taking. Went hiking on the trail that Paul Revere rode on. The views from the mountains to the water and the homes along the trail are things that you read about in books but can't believe they exist, but they do. C has made me feel at home from the first moment I met her and now is even helping me find a job for my husband with her network of friends. She is helping me with the areas that are safe to move to. I would stay here forever but my husband is joining me on my next assignment and this is really a single person set up. The ample kitchen cabinets and half the refrigerator with lazy Susan's in them to maximize our spaces is perfect. I feel like this is truly my home. Sitting in the back yard is so relaxing listening to the bird's and sometimes you can hear the church bells if you're outside. All of the decor and pictures are top notch. Housecleaning is done once a month and they come in and polish everything and the floors shine. I would highly recommend C C as a super host and give her 5 stars to anyone. She's a hard worker and enjoys taking care of her home and grounds. She loves animals and rides horses. She is fun to talk with and has been so helpful with everything I have gotten into. I joined the Marine Corps League out here. I have been to many social events and stayed at amazing resorts. I have done my nails and my hair and have gone shopping all on her recommendations. I've loved everything about this town and all the different ways into work that avoid the big city traffic. I have been to the mall and movie theater and restaurants out here. Boston is awesome. Everyone is so helpful and nice. I attended a luncheon with 1900 Marines at the Garden Center this year and I promise you that I will be back for many years to come. The area has great dancing bachata clubs and it's bustling with life!!! I don't want to leave here but whoever comes after me, just know that the warm sunshine that comes through the windows is the heart of this home. Everything is included in the price and you will not find a nicer place to live on your travels.
