Gorgeous One-Bedroom Detached Garage Guest House in Quiet Neighborhood All to Yourself

My stay

My stay here was absolutely amazing. This place had everything I needed and then some. Warm water all the time, washer and dryer in the unit. I have nothing but great things to say about this location. The landlords are the two most wonderful people you could ever ask for. Anything I could have needed they were a simple text away. There was one time I locked myself out of the unit and in the middle of the night the landlord came out within minutes of me texting him. They are wonderful people and the space is immaculate I recommend 1000/10 next time I'm in Virginia I'll definitely try to stay here again.

Great Property and Family

This garage-turnedone-bedroom is the perfect little space it truly has everything you need. Hunter and his family are fantastic hosts: super communicative, welcoming, and always up for a great conversation when you see them outside. The yard is perfect if you have a dog, and the space itself is surprisingly roomy. Full-size kitchen appliances, a real bathroom, and a bedroom thats definitely not cramped. Overall, a comfortable, convenient spot that feels easy to call home.

I stayed here for about 4 months & wish I didnt have to leave for another assignment. The property itself is in the perfect location if traveling to VCU. The neighborhood felt very safe & cozy. The inside feels a lot bigger than what it appears to be from the outside. It had all the amenities I needed for cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. The hosts were super friendly & welcoming, frequently checking in to see if I needed anything. Their dog was absolutely adorable & very friendly. 10/10!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The hosts, H and A, are very sweet and accommodating. They were always responsive whenever I had a question or needed anything. Also, I brought my dog, and they were very welcoming of him. He had a good sized yard to play in, and a very nice neighborhood to walk. I always felt very safe here and walking around the neighborhood. All of the neighbors I met are kind and intentional to get to know you. I highly recommend staying here!

This was a perfect place for me. I love that I was able to bring my dog with me. The neighborhood in safe and quiet. H and A were the BEST hosts. I will definitely look them up if I ever find my way back to Richmond.

Great apartment and great location

It is an adorable apartment. The kitchen is well stocked and bedroom is a good size. Perfect fenced in backyard for your dog. The location is very convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants. Parking is available steps from the door. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Owners are super friendly and very helpful. Very responsive if you have any issues. Their dog is very sweet. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
