Home
Absolutely loved living here and felt absolutely at home. The neighborhood is charming and walkable to many amenities, the neighbors are friendly and welcoming, and the home is comfortable and inviting. Rachel is a great host - keeps everything clean and well-maintained and is so kind and accommodating. I lived here for a year and a half with my cat and dog. The fenced yard is great for pets; I spent many hours on the shaded patio playing fetch with my dog and walking him to nearby parks. I worked primarily remotely, the second bedroom worked well as an office. The Internet service is great and climate control worked well year-round. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked - I was able to host many dinners and even bake a friends wedding cake! The primary bedroom is a cozy sanctuary, the living room a great place to chill and unwind, and the enclosed porch a sun soaked oasis. Couldnt recommend highly enough!
Amazing stay
This home made my stay in NM great. The bedrooms were spacious and had enough storage space. The yard was beautiful to sit out during the day and at night with the fire pit. My little dog loved the doggie doors for easy access. The location is close to hospitals, the airport, the interstate, Nob Hill and the Isleta Amphitheater. There is so much to do without going too far. Rachel is an amazing host. As far as surroundings I felt safe - the neighborhood is quiet. She gave many recommendations for hiking, restaurants and local gems. She is always easy to reach and quick to respond. If you will be in Albuquerque then you should definitely stay here.
Truly wonderful sanctuary
I deeply enjoyed my time in this house. It's an older home from the 40's and has a really charming, cozy feel. Bed is comfy, couch is comfy, kitchen is great for cooking, dining table great to work at, the front enclosed porch is a stellar spot for morning coffee, the evening sun pours through the living room thanks to the huge windows. Back patio is very sweet and a great place to be outdoors with privacy. The neighborhood is a real gem! No joke, it doesn't feel like the desert to me here at all. Especially in spring/summer, it's super lush and green with tree-lined streets and adorable neighborhood parks all over. Very quiet. Immediate neighbors are all lovely humans. A 5 minute drive to all the goodies on Central, a 15 minute walk to a Michael Thomas coffee shop. Heat and evaporative cooler both work great. Highly recommend! R is a wonderful host and really kind person.
