Home Away From Home.

I've been a tenant at this property for quite a while, and I must say that owner (Don) has been incredibly accommodating and genuinely cares about his tenants and his property. I really love the neighborhoodit's quiet and feels safe every day. Don is always polite and friendly, going out of his way to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. He communicates and keeps me informed about maintenance issues. Overall, my experience here has been very enjoyable.

Not a good experience

This place was gorgeous; the owner did an impressive job decorating the place. This place was well equipped, and we had everything we needed. HOWEVER, the experience was less than stellar. On move-in day, there was urine from the previous owner's dog on the floor. We received a text message from the landlord stating that we should turn on the fan when we cook because he does not like the smell; we said sure. The next day, he sends us another text message reiterating to turn on the fan, which was on. Extremely rude. It was not home-likeit felt like we were intruded on constantly. The landlord spoke to us like we were children, and it was very off-putting. My brother-in-law came to stay with us for 2 week, and he made us pay an additional $100 for him. In retrospect, it was a truly awful experience. We had great experiences at over 10 rentals across the country, but this was the worst. The decor received a rating of two stars.

My goal is always to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all my tenants, and I apologize that we seem to have missed the mark this time. Regarding the Cooking Aromas I want to clarify the text I sent about the cooking. I certainly never said I disliked the smellthat's truly your interpretation, and I apologize if my tone suggested that. The intent of my text was simply a polite request to use the stove's exterior-venting fan. As the air currents are shared in the property, we were noticing heavy cooking aromas in the upstairs bedrooms, which hadn't been an issue with previous tenants. My only aim was to address this and ensure the air quality remained pleasant for everyone. Clarification on Guest Stays I understand your brother's visit was important, and I am happy he could stay. Our lease specifies a 10-day limit for guests without prior approval. When you let me know he would be staying for three weeks, I asked if we could add a modest $100 to the rent to help cover the additional utilities and expenses that come with such an extended stay. I apologize if this request felt inconvenient. The Incident on the Floor I am so sorry that you encountered that unfortunate spot on the floor. It was immediately cleaned up, and I apologized right away for the oversight, as I am still unsure how the cleaner missed it. We assumed at the time that it might have been from the previous tenant's Chihuahua. I assure you, it was taken care of as soon as I was aware. Respecting Your Privacy It pains me to hear that you felt constantly intruded upon, as I went out of my way to respect your privacy. I specifically arranged to do my laundry only when your car was gone to ensure I was not imposing on you and your husband. I truly wish you had voiced any of your concernswhether about laundry, privacy, or anything elsewhile you were here. Open communication would have allowed me to immediately resolve any issues and ensure your stay was as comfortable as possible. Socializing and Property Feedback Regarding your kind invitations to hang out, I was truly flattered, and I hope my polite declines were not misinterpreted. I simply advised that I wasn't going to be able to make it. Finally, I was so pleased that you started your review by mentioning how gorgeous the property iswhich you, your husband and your brother kindly reiterated to me throughout your stay. I am a bit confused by the 2-star rating on the decor, but I certainly respect your opinion on the aesthetic. Thank you for providing this feedback, Kevin. It helps me improve as a landlord. Great Property

This home is as beautiful as it is comfortable. The owner recently renovated and all the amenities are high end and very stylish. My son and I stayed here while in Denver for soccer. We were very comfortable and spent quite a bit of time in the home cooking and relaxing. The owner, D, was incredibly responsive to any of our questions. He also went out of his way to assist us, even taking us to the airport when we left. I cant say enough about how great it was to stay here.

Excellent place and space!

This has been a great home for our family for the last 5+ months! It's been as advertised; any time that even small issues have come up they've been dealt with well and promptly. This has been everything we would have expected!
