Great location, 1 big downfall

The unit was in a perfect location. I rode my bicycle to work daily. Neighbors were nice. 15 minutes to walk downtown to the main street and the Saturday Market. Property owner had great communication whenever I had minor issues or questions. Biggest downfall is no kitchen or space to cook. A microwave and a small fridge was just not enough to live with for 2 months. I made due with my air fryer and electric skillet. I was washing dishes and containers in the bathroom sink which was not ideal. There was barely any storage and the storage there was, the owner had items that should have been removed. There desperately needs to be a dresser in the bedroom. I bet if you spent a little money and ran a water line where you had the microwave and counter you could put a great kitchenette in there. I would definitely had paid more for an actual kitchen space. So just beware for long term rentals. You can't live off microwave food and take out.

Perfect for solo professional

This is a great little property for a solo traveling professional. I am a travel RN and have been working at Richland Hospital for the last 4 months and I couldn't ask for a better location. It takes me 4 minutes to get to work in the morning. It is in the historic downtown area of Columbia, so it is very safe and quiet. The street is mostly long-term residents and offices in cute historic homes. You are a 15 minute walk to Main Street restaurants/stores, and a quick drive to 5 Points and other Columbia areas. This apartment does not have a kitchen, but they do provide a refrigerator and microwave so you can re-heat food or cook microwave-type meals. This apartment has been perfect for my needs and would be for anyone else who wants a safe, comfortable place to come home to after a long day of work! (especially if you work at Prisma and don't like long commutes). I've loved my stay here and have extended multiple times. The owners are great and respond immediately whenever I need them!
