Pros & cons

The pictures are not current. There is more furniture in the space, the patio is full of stuff (can't sit out there), the yard is cluttered with stuff. The listing says that there is parking available. However, I came home after day 3 of work and the driveway was full of cars, so I ended up having to park across the street for the rest of my stay...owners have 3 cars + camper that is parked in drive plus they rent out rooms so too many vehicles. Owner texted every few weeks to come down and get something out of the basement apartment which was fine at first but became very annoying after the third or fourth time. I stayed because it was cheap and it had 2 bedrooms so that my daughter could come visit often.

Horrible experience. Do not stay here.

I was suppose to stay in Castle Rock for 3 months and found this place which at first, seemed like it would be a good fit for me, my fiance and our dog. After arriving and seeing the mess that the place was in (the pictures online are clearly outdated) we decided to look for another place. The host, C, said this was fine, agreed to prorate the $500 deposit (even though online it says the deposit is $250 REFUNDABLE, she made us give her $500) and she would give us back the rest, no problem. After finding a new place to stay the same day, I updated her that I will be moving out in the next hour. She decided to text me saying that she changed her mind and would not be returning my money. Then proceeded to ignore my messages and calls after she said we could discuss it more. I came here with not much money and she wants to screw a nurse out of $380. She is highly unprofessional, a liar, and a thief, and her listing is falsely advertised as it looks like a place you'd see on Hoarders.
