Home away from home

Patti and Tim went above and beyond to welcome me into their home and ensure I had the best time during my stay in STL. The house is beautiful and spacious allowing for a good balance of social interaction and some alone time to decompress. The penthouse is it's own one bedroom apartment featuring a large bedroom with ample storage for clothing items a desk and sitting chairs. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you may need for easy meal prep during the week, the living room is cozy and inviting, and of course the soaking tub was exactly what I needed after a long week working at the hospital. The area is safe and close to BJC making my commute approx 10-15 mins each morning depending on traffic. Additionally there are many cute local restaurants within walking distance and a park right around the corner! Thank you Patti and Tim for your unmatched kindness and hospitality, if I am ever in STL for a travel contract again I will definitely stay with you again!

STL Stay

The hosts were very warm and welcoming into their home and so easy to reach if I needed anything. The space is big and private for one person on the third floor which felt separate from the main house. I honestly didn't hear much from downstairs. The noise from my TV/Alexa speaker doesn't seem to radiate through the house either (I would test it out as I would do laundry). The bathroom was my favorite part! There's a lot of dresser space in the bedroom as well as bedding and towels. The kitchenette has an air fryer, microwave, keurig, and a crockpot. There's also a full set of plates, bowls, glasses, and utensils to use. The parking pad is a private space in the back under a tree but street parking felt safe too. There's a coffee shop/brunch place walking distance that I enjoyed and a pizza place next door if I'm truly feeling lazy. The house is perfectly right off of highway 44 and 55. I never had issues merging onto 44 for my commute to BJC. Overall, I am grateful for my stay. :)

My Favorite of All

This penthouse was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I stayed here! The space is comfortable, secure, quiet, charming and welcoming. Patti and Tim made me feel at home immediately with their warm personalities and vast knowledge of everything St. Louis. I worked a contract at St. Louis Children's Hospital and the commute was never longer than 15 minutes, usually only about 10 minutes. The neighborhood this is located in is very walkable, there's several great eateries nearby, as well as some great local shops and a couple of beautiful parks. I've been traveling for over 6 years now and I've never felt sad about a leaving a place until I stayed here.

Lovely place I will rent it again!!!

If I could rate more than five star to this place I will definitely do it. The penthouse was clean and quiet. In addition to that there is an amazing jacuzzi.After a long tiring shift, the jacuzzi was my rescue. If you work night shift, do not worry about sunlight hitting your face while trying to sleep. the penthouse has blackout shades , and it is very quiet even during the day. Don't let me start talking about the amazing hosts. Patti and Tim were super nice, and fed my tummy. I felt like I was at home with my parents. I will forever miss their food and hospitality . If you want to visit and explore the city, this is the perfect place to live in St. Louis.

Lovely space!

What a wonderful 6 months i spent at this property! The parking pad was in the backyard and you'll enter through the main floor's kitchen door. The third floor space is beautiful, spacious, and quiet. It has lots of storage in the bedroom which is great. The bedroom can get pretty dark so it can work for night shifters who sleep during the day. The bathroom was the best part with the jacuzzi tub, double sinks, and rainfall shower head! The kitchenette worked very well for cooking for one person and the living room space was cozy. I always felt welcomed and comfortable in this home! I would highly recommend it. :)

Highly Recommend This Property

Highly recommend this property! There is 3 flights of stairs to get to the 3rd floor which contains the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful. The lighting in the bathroom and jacuzzi is one of the best element to this rental. Also, the bedroom is extremely spacious. There is plenty of closet space and a work desk by the window. Right outside the bedroom was a mini fridge and microwave. I parked in the backyard and entered by the back entrance of the house. The shared kitchen contains plenty of equipment that you will need to make a simple meal. It is similar to a commercial kitchen, which I enjoyed spending my time. I felt that the neighborhood was relatively safe during my stay. The host are always welcoming and made me feel like family. They made sure I got home safely and they are always available. If there were any issues, they would address the issue immediately. I would love to come back and live here again.
