Amazing Piece of Heaven

I came across this property by accident as I wasn’t sure what my plans were for the future. Michelle and Mike gave me the opportunity to figure out what direction I was going. They provided a safe haven of peace and serenity where I could heal and take the next step in this adventure called life. I moved back to the area to be near my aging father. I found Michelle and Mike and it was the perfect option for my lifestyle at the moment. I work from home and needed a good wifi connection and a place to live close to Dad. They were the perfectly attentive when I needed them. I'd recommend this property to anyone who loves the country.

My Stay

My stay with Michelle and Mike was one a renter could only dream of. I have been a traveler in the medical field for about 4 years now and theirs was my favorite place this far. Their place was very clean, quiet, and cozy to the point I truly felt as if I were at home. They were wonderful and easy to communicate with and were sure to take care of any small needs or issues immediately. If I could give more stars I definitely would without hesitation!

Excellent stay and hist

This property was amazing. Exceptionally clean, well stocked and easily accessible. A great and attentive host, quiet, peaceful and environment. The distance to hospitals was less than 25 minutes. It would be my pleasure to stay here again .

Cute Barn Studio Ever

From my first day when staying at this property up until my last day, M made me feel extremely comfortable. The property had everything someone would need for a stay, especially one as long as mine. Being my first time in Hickory, she provided me with a list of laundry services, restaurants and bars as well as entertainment areas. I was particularly pleased with how M checked on me periodically to see if I needed anything. The property was very spacious with an offering of a full bathroom and kitchen, as well as an extra bedroom area providing even more space. In addition to this, the property was very secluded and one of the cleanest Ive stayed in. I honestly felt safe at all times. If given the opportunity to stay again I definitely would.

Highly recommend!

After moving around to a bunch of different places, I found myself at the farm studio. It checked all the boxes and the owners are so attentive and kind. The space had basic essentials to get me started as well as linens for the bed and bathroom. Any problems were quickly resolved. The bonus is just how lovely their property is. There is a huge covered porch that I loved to read my book on and do my exercising. Such a relaxing environment after a busy shift at the hospital.

A Gem!

This is a very unique, and awesome spot! It is like a small private house, but the layout would be considered a huge studio. The place is clean, fully furnished, and has a massive covered deck. The location is on large piece of property adjacent to a state park in a country setting, so it is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Great for day sleeping if you work night shift too, which isn't easy to find. There is a trail through the woods, and garden on the property, so no need to drive anywhere to get your nature fix. Also if you need anything the owners are the nicest too! I definitely felt super lucky to find this rental, and wish I could have stayed longer!
