Served me well

I was fortunate to have found this space. It's kept very clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed having the lower level to myself. It's secure and I always felt safe. There was always street parking available in front of the property, or very close. I only had two things which I wish were different: 1) While there is laundry available on the premises, the machines are located within the bedrooms on the upper level. Fortunately the tenant in that room was very sweet, but we had to coordinate with her to do laundry and it was awkward having to go into her room to do laundry. 2) To me, the house was very cold - especially on the lower level. There was a radiator-style heater which was great to use in the bedroom, but the bathroom and living area (where the desk is) were very cold. I needed to use the desk a lot, but sometimes just couldn't do it as the space heater didn't work well for that larger space.

Best location stayed Chicago

Best landlord ever: he was very kind and always was available to help in all of our needs. The room was quite spacious, and the entire house was very spacious. It helped that there was housekeeping services biweekly. Other tenants were very respectful, and the location was great. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay

This place is a steal! The bedroom has so much space, and I loved having a walk-in closet. I also appreciated having my own bathroom. The shared spaces including the kitchen have everything you will need for a wonderful stay. The location is very convenient since it is so close to the Medical District hospitals and West Loop for dining/entertainment. I never had any problems with street parking as well. The landlord T is THE best, he is a lovely person and very responsive to any issues you may have. I definitely recommend renting here!

Above and Beyond

Staying at this property is worth a lot more than the price. The property is spectacular, meticulously maintained, clean, the kitchen is stocked up with appliances, any and all types of kitchen items. I wasnt planning to cook anything but I ended up cooking because the kitchen had everything, the appliances worked perfect. The linens, everything was meticulous. The home looks very expensive, the items are expensive, really this property owner not only amazed me but also inspired me. He did a spectacular job. The neighborhood was great, my car was safe the whole time and I didnt have to worry about it. The property owner provided a little pamphlet with lots of helpful information about the area. If I could give this property a 10 star rating, I would.

My absolute favourite stay

T is an excellent host. I dont usually leave reviews but this was by far my favourite house to stay at. T Bis very accommodating. The area is peaceful and safe and the house is maintained beautifully. Would recommend this to anyone staying at Chicago!!

Great place!

Im really happy I found this place in such a short notice. Theodore was very accommodating and allowed me to move to a bigger room in the house after other guests moved out. The house was stocked with literally everything, all I needed was my clothes. I never had an issue with the other roommates since everyone has their own bathrooms and they were very respectful. There are weekly ladies that clean the shared spaces as well. Also I really appreciated that T responded right away if there were any concerns.

Good for my long-term stay

Place was comfortable and clean. Basic items, such as oil and pans, were provided in the kitchen, so that made things a lot more convenient. Laundry detergent and toilet paper were provided at the time of my stay as well. The amenities and designs are nice and modern. I was in the small bedroom, but it wasnt bad at all. The bed will fit a shorter/smaller person (Im 52, and I fit easily). Desk is great to do work at, but if you want more space, the dining/living room is spacious. Bathroom isnt big but very nice. The owner is responsive if you have an issue or any questions. Would recommend.

Awesome Stay!

My stay here was the absolute best. T is a great host and took care of everything I needed during my stay. It's in a great location and close to the downtown as well. T's place is very well maintained, extremely comfortable and cozy. I couldn't have found a better place to stay and I highly recommend staying here!!

PERFECT RENTAL!!!!!

I am a 4th year medical student, because of that Ive had to move a lot this past year for rotations. I would have to say this was by far the BEST rental Ive stayed in! The place is spacious! It's not far from any of the hospitals in Chicago and its a quick drive to anything fun. There was always plenty of street parking no matter what time I got home. Also something to note, I am a huge scaredy cat lol but I always felt safe! T (the landlord) is awesome! Always willing to answer questions and is available if needed. Highly recommend it!!

Medical District

I had a very comfortable stay at T's place. Firstly, the place was spotless. And it remained that way throughout my month long stay. T always made an effort to help out- even with things like taking out the trash whenever he'd come for a check. Secondly, the neighborhood was great. Safe, and very well connected to the city, close to downtown, and perfect for people going to the medical district for work. Pete's fresh market and Walgreens are 5 minute walk away. United center is less than 8 minutes away (walking distance) for those planning on attending events. Also- having private bathrooms is a perk. My co-residents were great too and having organized and separate kitchen cabinets/fridge sections etc ensures that people get along well! There were always extra supplies to use. I did struggle with the temperature in my room a little bit- it was too warm for me. T got a cooling fan immediately and that helped. I'd recommend this place 100%.

Review

T's place was such a comfortable place for me to stay during my month long rotation as a fourth year medical student. It's so rare to find a place that has its own private bathroom and on top of that a host that is so attentive to the needs of their residents. T provided a fully stocked unit, cleaning service, background checks, but also made sure everyone felt as comfortable as possible. The unit is nicely decorated, with big windows for vibrant natural lighting, with washer and dryer. Common area is shared amongst your flat mates. T even provides portable heaters but the place has a good ambient temperature. The unit was also conveniently located within walking distance to a grocery store. Truly got lucky with such a nice and beautiful area to stay for my rotation, with a great host. I highly recommend 10x over!

Great Place

Super clean and spaceous room/house. He has cleaners come in biweekly. T is a great host, super sweet and responsive. He even shovels the snow from the pathways for his guests! Will definitely stay here again when next in Chicago.

Highly recommended

I had the opportunity to stay more than 4 months, the accommodation is very well equipped, very clean, close to several means of transportation, good location to go downtown and a security system. My stay was very pleasant, I felt at home. T is an incredible host, he is always in communication and attentive to any questions or situations. I would definitely recommend it and if I have the opportunity to return I would look to book here again.

Great and close to medical district

I had a great stay at this place. Big room with privacy and space for a long term stay. The house is well equipped and clean. The main area is very comfortable. Location is great and in close proximity to all nice areas in Chicago
