Comfortable, safe, well suited for a long term stay

I stayed here for 8 months after living in WSNC for the past 2.5 years. Its 12 minutes to downtown, and less than that to basically any store you could want. The furniture is all comfortable and the home overall is well maintained. My dog and I spent a lot of time enjoying the deck and taking in the NC summer. Obviously, you dont need to talk with neighbors but I made some amazing friends, even found a neighbors whos pup played with mine all the time. The kids who play in the neighborhood are very sweet, and everyone nearby was very kind. It definitely improved our stay to be around such lovely people.

Amazing landlord

I stayed at Conners cottage for 7 months. Its a very quiet and peaceful place. I felt very safe as a single woman. The cottage was centered close to many great restaurants and Baptist hospital is only about 15 minutes away. Conner is an outstanding landlord and took care of any issues that came up. I would stay at his place again in the future if the need arose.

100% AMAZING

This house was PERFECT! My husband and I just moved to North Carolina in early July into August and needed a home to stay in while we were looking for ours. We booked to stay at Connors and it was amazing. We arrived well after midnight after driving across the country for 3 days straight and were completely exhausted. He made sure we got landed and had everything we needed to get off the road and checked in with us the following day. This home had great parking, nice neighbors and all the amenities we needed for our temporary home. We were here for just over 40 days and couldnt have asked for a better place!! We were informed that immediately before our stay there was a tenant in the house that had left in less than ideal conditions. Truthfully- the tenants ruined pieces of his lovely home that Connor had fixed and replaced in time for us to move in!! It was stated there were mold concerns- there were absolutely NONE. We had someone with us that has sensitive asthma and has 0 issues!! (He also had the house inspected and it was good to go!) The previous tenants also left a MOUND of trash to be disposed of- Im talking a small roll-off of trash- including the couch they ruined Connor has GREAT communication and is happy to accommodate and make sure you are right at home!! We absolutely recommend staying with him and recommend him to anyone who comes this way!

Terrible Experience- Avoid This Property

Our family had an extremely negative experience with this rental property. The home was uninhabitable due to serious health and safety issues, including mold concerns that were so severe that our pediatrician advised us to leave immediately due to our sons health. Despite bringing this to the landlords attention, the issues were never addressed and he completely avoided talking to us. Not only did he take our security deposit but throughout the process, Connor was uncooperative and even retaliated by charging random fees. He was even charging us after we moved out WHILE renting to someone else. We eventually had to take this the legal route, which we won in court. He also has another lawsuit where he lost recently for the same issue. Both these judgements can be seen publicly. This is not a safe or suitable place to live, and I strongly advise others to avoid this rental and find a more responsible landlord.

great stay! home away from home!

Stayed here with my two fur babies for a travel contract. Loved the neighborhood and neighbors. Would defiantly stay here again! C is amazing, very responsive and his home is very welcoming & clean.

Great place!

Stayed here for about six months. Everything about this house was amazing. The huge backyard was great for my dogs! Loved my time here. Connor was very responsive and great throughout my time there! Could not recommend enough!

Cottage review

C is a very responsive landlord. This cottage was the perfect size for my assignment and only 15 min away from AHWFBH. The place is clean, private, and the sounds of nature in the back of the cottage made this stay feel like a retreat. Full size washer, dryer and refrigerator were awesome. The neighborhood felt safe and was very quiet.

Fantastic little abode

Dont be fooled by the outside like I was. I went in afraid Id be living in a shed. No, connors studio is fantastic with plenty of charm. Perfect for single travelers or even a couple traveling together. Great location very convenient to everything including the hospital where I was contracted. I felt very safe. Plenty of lighting around the outside structure. Private parking. Laundry room was great. Im nightshift and the studio was loaded with dark curtains that kept the place dark during the day. I am very thankful for that touch! Would absolutely stay here again.
