Entire house rental in downtown San Bruno, close to public transportation

Near YouTube and Caltrain, great host

I stayed here for 3 months during an internship and had a great experience. Sherry was such a great host, super responsive, she also shared great recommendations for nearby places to shop. The location is also extremely convenient, very close to YouTube which made for an easy walk to the office. I also liked that it was close to the BART station and even closer to the Caltrain stop, which made it very convenient for day trips to SF or towards South Bay without a car. The neighborhood felt safe the whole time, no concerns at all with packages and such. I was initially a little concerned about being close to SFO and potential plane noise, but the house is pretty well insulated, and the busiest times were mostly during the day when I was out anyway, so it never ended up being an issue.

Sherry's Home - the 'Milton Hilton'

Living in the 'Milton Hilton' has been a wonderful experience and remains one of my most cherished memories. I stayed there twice- first from Oct-Dec 2023 for an internship, and again from May-Aug 2024. The house is perfectly located, right by CalTrain, BART, and downtown San Bruno. A grocery store is less than a 2 minute walk away, and the nearby shops make the area incredibly convenient. I came from Canada, and Sherry welcomed me and made me feel right at home. What really stood out was the community; the next-door neighbors became a second family, and I always felt at home with them and Sherry. When I got my 2nd internship, returning to the Milton Hilton was a no-brainer. Sherry is one of the kindest, most free-spirited people I've ever met; full of stories and warmth. Whether or not she's currently living there, I wholeheartedly recommend the home. It is very clean, well-located, full of personality, and built on a legacy of kindness.
