Sweet spot for traveling nurses/allied health professionals
I am a travel SW and have had 2 different contracts at St. Joe's Medical Center. Stayed at Jesse's place both times. Safe community and within walking distance of a couple of hospitals, J's place is set up so that each suite has it's own private bathroom, as well as a small dorm style fridge and microwave. However, there is also access to a large and fully stocked kitchen so the choice is yours as far as simple meals in room or making meals in the kitchen. J and his partner, M, make every effort to fully embrace the "mi casa es su casa" experience, inviting all property dwellers to the occasional community meal in the home or, al fresco dining if weather permits. All are welcome to attend, but never pressured as they are both quite understanding of work schedules and need for privacy. That said, if you're up for an adventure, they will also kindly put on their tour guide hats and show you around some of the best cideries, pubs and local eateries that Tacoma has to offer.
Best co-living in Tacoma (or anywhere)!
Ive stayed at many co-living communities around the US and international during the last six years. Jesses place is my very favorite; incredible hospitality and sense of belonging and peacefulness. The home has such an amazing history, and the neighborhood and surrounding areas are fun and vibrant (as are the hosts). I stayed for a month or two on several occassions..always feels too short! ~ Thank you to J and his Ohana.
Perfect Location and Stay For Travel Professionals
Another amazing stay! This was my 3rd time staying here in the past 3 yrs. Each time there is something different with how the rooms are laid out, common area furniture/plant arrangements, and various activities going on there. One thing that has not changed, are the fantastic hosts and the welcoming environment theyve created! It feels like you're walking into your home after a long day (assuming you love your home). Each time I've stayed it's unique. No matter what your needs are, whether it be BBQ out back (he just finish a brand new deck that is perfect!) or quiet relaxing alone time.. You'll get it! The personal touch specific to each guests needs is incredible. This place has become a true home away from home and I can't wait to get back there!
