Amazing stay with great hosts

I recently finished up a two month stay at Lidia and Miki's guest studio in Sylmar and have nothing but great things to say about it! Even though it is technically just a one room studio, the way it's set up makes it feel like it has a little living room and kitchen. Everything is brand new, it felt very homey, and the private yard was such a plus to have if you have a pet. My stay coincided with the madness of some of LA's largest wildfires, but Miki and Lidia were so supportive during this turbulent time. They made sure to let me know that if anything happened (potential evacuation) while I was away from the home they would make sure my cat was taken care of. Fortunately it did not come to this, but I appreciate their hospitality greatly. They also gifted me the best Croatian chocolates for the holidays. I highly recommend staying at Miki and Lidia's little studio oasis if you want to be in a quiet corner of the valley, within reach of LA and Burbank with amazing hosts!

A Cozy Haven for a Three-Month Retreat

I recently had the pleasure of renting this furnished studio from L, and my experience exceeded all expectations. This little gem provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and charm. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by a tastefully decorated and well-lit space that instantly felt like home. The studio was thoughtfully furnished with modern and comfortable furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was a highlight of the studio, equipped with all the essentials for preparing meals. One of the standout features of this rental was its location. Situated in a vibrant neighborhood, I had easy access to local shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. The studios proximity to parks and green spaces allowed for a refreshing escape from the urban hustle and hike all weekend long. I truly felt safe, L and M made me feel like family.

Summer Stay

Travel RN at Olive View. I contacted L about their property and was able to FaceTime prior to booking. Meeting the owners prior to booking was tremendously helpful in choosing this studio. Great location, 1 mile from the hospital, can easily walk of drive. Safe community, beautiful studio, and parking directly on the street always available.Nearby parks and stores. L and M were the perfect host! They were always a text away, pleasant people to be around and great communication. The studio is as pictured. Private, cozy, functional appliances. The yard can easily be enjoyed in the evening. They welcomed me with a tea, coffe and snack filled beverage package on arrival that I appreciated. If you are a night shift employee, bring your eye mask. I would definitely stay again and recommend this place.

Wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this charming studio! It's very comfortable and well-equipped for longer stays. The location is private but with quick access to highways and also trails in the foothills for hiking/running. It also has a nice courtyard. The hosts are very responsive, helpful, and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here!

Highly Recommend!

I can't express my gratitude enough...I was super happy with the cozy pine studio. I instantly felt like I was at home. The set up is exactly as pictured and more...they provided all the essentials to cooking, bathing, sleeping. They made the rental process incredibly easy. I felt safe and if I needed anything, the owners were quick to respond. I love the private area in front. You can enjoy morning coffee and relax in the shade (so much greenery). I enjoyed watching TV while eating and I even set up my yoga mat and used the TV for youtube yoga haha. I love breakfast at the nook and watching movies on the projector. The highway is nearby so its a quick drive to downtown, beach, etc.! This studio has everything...and the owners are so kind and welcoming. I recommend to anyone who needs a quiet getaway at the foot of the mountains.

Great place to live, safe, updated and clean!

I stayed at this property for about 4 months over the summer. I worked at Olive View MC, which is about a 10 minute walk from the house. I had such a great experience living here, felt very safe and in a good area. Pretty close to many hiking spots, gym and grocery stores. M and L are the best landlords/neighbors, so quickly to respond to questions and always so friendly. The place is newly renovated and has everything you need. The thing I liked most about my stay is the privacy with the backyard, the bathroom and the home theater set up with the projector. I honestly do not have any complaints about this property, I would recommend this to any of my friends and family members.

Your very own cottage in the city!

My stay at this cute little cottage couldnt have been more positive. A little piece of Heaven in a busy world! The owners, M and L were so friendly and welcoming. I feel I had known them for years! They thought of literally everything and provided more than I could have asked for. Even my little dog was taken care of! It was such a nice change from some places I have been. If you are looking for a safe, clean, adorable studio in the Los Angeles area, this is your place! It is super easy to jump on any major freeway to get to several of the hospitals if you are a healthcare traveler. Its not in the heart of the city, but its not too far out either. Thank you for everything, M and L!
