Great place, greater people

This apartment has everything you could want. Excellent location. Owners just might be the nicest people you will ever meet. Can’t recommend enough.

Best place and Warm People!

We stayed at this place only for a month but left us with memories that are going to last us for a lifelong. The place is super nice and has all the amenities that are mentioned, it has a private entrance and the house if yourself. Mr. Brown and Mrs. Brown are some of the kindest people that I have met, theyre always reachable and ready help you out with anything that is necessary. If Im is considering moving to Kansas city and this would be the first place Id like to find out if it is available. The neighbourhood is safe and everything is in a drivable distance.

My Wife, Jan, and I have traveled since May of 2021. We came to KC in January 2025 after finding Brookside and The Browns on Furnished Finder. David and Cherie are the BEST. Traveling is difficult at the best of times, but having a great place to come home too makes it all great. David and Cherie are fantastic people to rent from and the apartment is fantastic. David was always available to speak with or get back with me via text within 12 hours. The Brookside Retreat is within minutes of restaurants and other businesses because of its central location and we always felt safe in this area. People are walking daily with their families or pets and we could enjoy the outdoor deck in the evening. I highly recommend this apartment if youre staying in the central KC area. If our medical travels take us back to KC in the future, Well definitely look up the Browns again. C.S. Garrett RT(R) RCIS

Extraordinary Apartment!

This was an amazing apartment! D and C are the most gracious hosts. They are supportive, responsive and so welcoming. The apartment is everything described and more. It is custom built and designed with very tasteful and comfortable furnishings. The space is welcoming and relaxing. The location is prime. The grounds are beautiful and there is a lovely porch to sit outside on your days off. You will have everything you need for a comfortable home away from home stay. I loved my time there!

Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood

This was a fantastic apartment! Comfortable and nicely finished in a great neighborhood. A short walk to McLain's Bakery or Bier Station and a short drive to St. Luke's, KU, or Research.

Perfect experience and beautiful apartment

I moved into Mr. and Mrs. B apartment on my first (and second) travel contract. I was nervous and didnt know what to expect. The B have made me feel comfortable and safe. They have always been happy to offer entertainment advice or birthday dinner recommendations. The apartment is fully stocked and comfortable. They have worked hard to make sure that whom ever is staying there has everything they need. They are parents of a nurse and understand the crazy hours we can have to work. It was a pleasure to have been able to stay in this beautiful apartment for the past six months and to have gotten to meet the Browns. It definitely made traveling a little easier.
