I have been restoring older homes for over 40 years and am thrilled at how nice this original early 1900's adobe brick home turned out. It still has its unique quality features yet modern amenities. So very quiet inside and private. Complete kitchen, bright and the 50's cabinets are charming. Sleeping here is devine. A most comfortable and charming home.
Im a woman builder specialising in restorations. I redesigned the interior and discovered it had a cathedral ceiling in the living area so brought it back to life. The original 1920s Adobe walls make it whisper quiet. It's a joyful atmosphere and a lovely space to live in. My nurses have all loved living here. The private yard faces east
Set in the historic South Broadway Neighborhood near the rail yards and downtown with families having lived here for generations. It is a peaceful spot with easy access to everything. All my guests have loved living here. The Burque Bakehouse is my favorite walkable destination for world class pastries. And The Grove restaurant/cafe is also walkable.
Quiet, Cozy, and Convenient Would Stay Again
I had a great stay in Albuquerque! Maryanne was an awesome host and always responded quickly whenever I had a question or needed anything. The place was super cozy, clean, and comfortable, and had everything I needed. The street is very quiet and peaceful, and I felt safe staying there. There was no homelessness or any of the issues you sometimes see in other areas, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Another huge bonus was being able to park my car inside the gated property, so I never had to worry about it. The location is also great close to pretty much everything you need while still being on a quiet street. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
