Very nice neighborhood in North Asheville near Beaver Lake and 2 miles from Downtown Asheville.
Good location, kind landlord
Good location, very close to downtown and grocery stores. Enjoyed the Beaver Lake down the road for fitness and scenery. Landlady was attentive and responsive when it came to addressing issues. For example, we had an outage with the microwave several times, but Pauline would come fix it promptly. One drawback is the size of the kitchen - very limited countertop space for cooking. Overall, sufficient space everywhere else in the house. Liked the TV in the living room and loved the desk as my fiance works from home. She enjoyed being able to look out the window while working every day. Pros and cons with the setup of the house feeling lived in. Pauline let us know we could make it our own, but for my fiancee, some spaces were a bit small because of all the furniture like in the living room area. Quick turnaround for return of deposit, which was a plus. Overall, enjoyed our time there, saw wildlife in the front yard, and appreciated the hospitality of the landlord. Would recommend.
Amazing Pet friendly, furnished 2 bed single family home
Suburban life meets city life in this homey, fully furnished affordable home in North Asheville close to Beaver Lake walking trails and close to literally EVERYTHING (two grocery stores are walking distance)! I loved throwing the ball in the fenced-in yard to my dog, enjoyed nights on the covered back porch with a friend and a bottle of wine, and loved the friendly, safe neighborhood. I felt safe there as a single woman - night or day. The landlady is incredibly kind and helpful, too. A great rental experience! I stayed for five months, and loved every minute of it! I would have stayed longer if my job had remained based in town. If you don't check this one out, you're truly missing out! It's much more affordable than any of the other furnished (or unfurnished) single-family homes in town. It was a diamond in the rough for me - a true GEM, and I highly recommend that you check it out!
