Cozy & Convenient
I stayed in this home for 6 months. The owner is very responsive and attentive. The king bed mattress is very comfortable and the rooms are big. The full bathroom is graciously sized. The kitchen is well stocked. Its a quaint old home which I appreciate. You are sandwiched between Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake in a very safe neighborhood that is easily walkable. There are many trails to explore. The surrounding nature is beautiful. It is cool watching the lakeshore change over time. Frosty Cove is open seasonally but get the soft serve. Wonderland Distillery is lovely for good drinks and light fare. The Farmers Market downtown is open year round with a variety of offerings (Laughing Tree Bakery, Egeler Farm, and Lucky Dog maple syrup) but during prime season it is packed full 3 days a week. Aldea Coffee is my favorite and 794 Kitchen has good food. All the stores you would need are a quick drive. Grand Haven is close by and a neat area. I enjoyed my stay and will rent again!
