Awesome Stay in Bellingham

Amber and Jon are wonderful hosts. They strike the perfect balance between being welcoming, helpful, and available when needed while also giving guests plenty of privacy and space. The rental unit, located in their backyard, is new, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained. I stayed there for over two months while on a travel nursing assignment in Bellingham, and the location couldn't have been more convenient—I was able to run home for lunch since it was practically right across the street from work. Their yard is beautiful, green, and peaceful, creating a relaxing environment to come home to each day. One of the highlights of my stay was being able to bring my dogs. They absolutely loved it there and especially enjoyed playing with Felix, their adorable dog. The unit was well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable long-term stay. I highly recommend staying with Amber and Jon—you'll feel right at home and love this place as much as I did! 5 star stay, and 5 star hosts!

Conveniently close to the hospital

This was the first property I had as a travel rn that allowed me to just walk to the hospital. It took me 5 minutes to walk from this property to my unit in the hospital. Amber was also very accommodating and understanding. She worked with me to get me in the property earlier which was super nice because hotel living as a travel rn with a dog sucks. Unfortunately my contract was cut short , Amber was also nice enough to work with me on this. The property itself was super clean with plenty of space to move around. My dog enjoyed running around the big backyard. It's a beautiful unit and you'll definitely appreciate the convenience of being so close to the hospital. I would stay again if I'm ever back in Bellingham.

Great situation for us'

We were visiting Bellingham while awaiting the birth of our grandchild. Amber and Jon were so accommodating and our dog had a great time hanging out. They shared favorite places and things to do and were responsive to any requests. All-around great hosts; we would definitely stay again.

A great pet friendly apartment

The apartment was a perfect landing spot for my husband and me as we made our move to the PNW from Arizona. With all our belongings in a storage unit, we needed a dog friendly furnished place until we found our next home and this place was perfect. Their dog Felix welcomed our senior dog and was so gentle and protective over her. Amber and Jonny were great hosts and the apartment has everything you need. A great quiet neighborhood. 100% would recommend!

Amazing Experience!

Amber and John were willing to work with our many pets, which was a lifesaver for us. They were always friendly and very relaxed, and whenever we had issues with the rental (which were few) they were quick to act on it. Also the rental itself is very cute and obviously perfect if you work at St Jo's like we did. We were able to just walk across the street to work. Would 100% recommend.

Backyard Oasis

Jonny, Amber, and family created the perfect space for us to live and work out of their beautifully crafted ADU. They were so accommodating and even had us over for dinner. We welcomed frequent visits from their dog, Felix, and felt truly at home. Thank you!

Perfect location, lovely neighbors!

This place is perfect for anyone working at the hospital - the walk to work is mere minutes! The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, close to amenities, and a quick bike ride to downtown. Nearby Cornwall Park is great for walking through the trees or playing pickleball or frisbee golf. A + J are lovely to have as neighbors - very welcoming and friendly and their dog is a delight! We've enjoyed sharing meals with them and getting their recommendations for things to do around town. Highly recommend this place for a single person or a couple that are used to living in small spaces together.

Garden Haven Near St. Joe's: A Homely Retreat

Excellent location and hosts! From the moment I arrived at the Garden Haven near St. Joe's, I was greeted with warmth that made me feel like part of the family. The hosts, A and J, were nothing short of excellent, being very friendly and communicative. The accommodation itself is a perfect space for a single or couple and provided all of the necessities needed for a furnished space. Nestled in a serene location that's conveniently close to St. Joe's, it was the ideal base for my explorations and getting to know the area. The garden was a peaceful sanctuary, where I could unwind and just relax. It's clear that the hosts have put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming environment. What stood out the most was the sense of community and family. Engaging conversations and shared meals made my stay memorable and left me with new friends. I will miss the people and the location! In summary, Garden Haven is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that proved enriching!

Sanctuary

I really enjoyed staying here the family is great all the way down to the dog they are very welcoming and although the apartment is in the back yard its very peaceful no one bothers you unless you want them too the yard is beautifully maintained the apartment is cute n efficient walking distance to a nice park there is a detailed book of things to enjoy in Bellingham if i had to complain I would say the bed is super soft I mean is that even a complaint I travel for work I did not enjoy my work environment but I would do it again if I got to stay here the energy of the family and this place is A1

Excellent Short Term Stay & Hosts!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at A + J's for the Spring season and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. Communication was top-notch and their warm demeanor instantly made us feel welcome and at ease. The rental was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. Every amenity you could desire was provided, and A remained accessible and ready to assist with any questions or requests I had. They truly went the extra mile for a comfortable stay and their genuine care was evident in every interaction. Could not recommend this unit enough for a single individual or couple able to live in small surroundings!

Phenomenal!

Ended up spending three months here while working at St. Joesph Medical Center. The accommodations were lovely and the hosts were just as great! The property is only a few minutes away and boast everything a guest could think of. On top of being great people, they were extremely loving and caring to my dog which gives anyone knows great satisfaction. Next time I am in town Ill be sure to reach out!

Amazing Place

This is the most amazing little place! It was so cozy and welcoming! It's in a great location not to far from everything! Awesome landlords they was very welcoming and nice always checked in to make sure everything was okay with the apartment! Best place I've stayed since I've started traveling for work! Would definitely stay here again!

Great little spot near St. Joseph's

We spent an awesome 3 months renting from J and A. The location was perfect for working at Saint Josephs Medical CenterI walked to work every day. The apartment has been recently renovated and while small, it was comfortable for two adults and a dog. The back yard is spacious and beautiful. A was a great host and full recommendations for local spots. We would definitely stay here again.
